Great apartment, host Marlene was amazing and we had a pretty good time overall. Beach is 1 minutes walk, nice atmosphere on the promenade and lots of friendly people in the resort. Facilities were all as described. It is worth reading all the reviews and we were aware there might be some noise.......

Sadly the building suffers from being older and the acoustics magnified the noise from below and within the building. The front doors were regularly left open (the mechanism to close them didn't work then fell off altogether). It was holiday season but the noise from other occupants was still excessive at all times of the day / night. Quarteira Council empties the bins in the middle of the night (3AM) and the system is really noisy and interrupted our sleep several nights each week (we were there for 21 nights). There are four bins across from the apartment and they emptied two one night then came back another night for the other two :( Our host was very quick to respond but doesn't have the power over the building maintenance / security.

The apartment was excellent. Very clean and close to everything. Marlene is very friendly and always answered any questions we had. Would highly recommend this apartment.

The apartment was lovely, Very tastefully decorated throughout Spotlessly clean Well equipped - everything you need is there right down to an umbrella for the beach when the sun gets too much. Great location and lovely sea view Hosts were very friendly and helpful, giving us lots of information about the area
