Lovely space with upper and lower lounge areas and decks. Lots of room for larger groups. Perfect location with views of the ocean and in walking distance to a fantastic beach with great sand and crystal clear waters!

We absolutely loved our ladies weekend here, we enjoyed morning dips, breakfast on the deck with magical ocean views. Also two cosy lunge-rooms with really nice furniture and decor to relax into. Lounges are beautiful. Beds are amazing too.

Perfect location and the view was amazing! I wish I could give a better review but unfortunately when we got there the house was quite different to what we expected from the listing. In the photos it's presented so beautifully however, during our stay there was no plants to be seen, the furniture was worn out and had stains, two of the fly screens fell out and the freezer was iced over. The garage was a mess. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The cushions on the balcony had been ripped along with the hammock which was unusable and there were no ping pong balls to be able to play. It was a real shame as they were some of the key things we picked this property for. There were very little basic amenities like salt and pepper, coffee pods and only enough washing powder for one load. We had no dish cloths to wash the dishes with and were told the caretaker was going to bring all this stuff to the house but they only brought 3 tea towels which we already had. For a luxury listing it was very overpriced for what we got. Jennie did offer us a small refund for the trouble which I appreciate. Overall we still had a great time in Eagle Bay but would find somewhere else next time.

Good experience

We had a relaxing weekend at Eagle Bay and the house was perfect. It’s a short walk down to the beach and a short drive to town and the wineries. Inside there was plenty of room for us with two lounge rooms taking in the beautiful view. We could not fault a thing and would definitely come back to stay again. Thanks so much.

We had a wonderful time. Location was within walking distance to beach. It’s nestled among trees in a quiet neighbourhood. The view was unspeakable, simply stunning. Comfortable beds and plenty of amenities. We will definitely be rebooking in the future.

Great location and wonderful views. Our little ones enjoyed exploring the block and the house and it was perfect for the older generation too! Property manager was very helpful and communication was great. Highly recommended.

Had a great stay at Eagle Bay. The house had everything we needed for a girl's weekend away. Great location, WiFi, comfortable beds and amazing views.

We stayed there with another family and found it the perfect place to resource while watching winter storms roll over. Good space for the little ones and the not so little, a short walk to the beach and a beautiful view, this property was perfect for us. The property manager was particularly helpful and very responsive, she definitely helped us make the most of our weekend south.

THE OWNER OF THIS HOUSE WAS GOOD TO CORRESPOND WITH, HOWEVER SHE DOES NOT LIVE IN THE AREA, AND SELDOM GETS DOWN TO THE HOUSE TO REVIEW OR RELIES ON HER CLEANING STAFF. WE ARRIVED AT THE HOUSE THE EVENING OF MARCH 31, AND THE ENTIRE HOUSE WAS INFESTED WITH MICE POOP, ANTS EVERYWHERE, AND SCREENS FALLING OFF WINDOWS, JUST A HORRIBLE MESS. THE OWNER DID SAY SHE WOULD REFUND MY STAY, BUT STILL OWES ME MONEY, SHE DID REFUND A PORTION, BUT SAID SHE WOULD REFUND ALL THAT I SPENT. WE DID FIND A LOCAL HOTEL TO STAY FOR A NIGHT. ALL IN ALL I WOULD NOT GO BACK....EVER.

Didn’t want to leave

Gorgeous views from top floor bedrooms and living room. Downstairs (main floor) also has beautiful ocean views but a bit more difficult to see. House is family friendly, clean, has games, coffee machine, and basic amenities. Has everything you could want but basic enough not to lose the magic of the (semi) isolation.

A great place for two young families to stay. Clean and tidy with a few millipedes in the bathroom and laundry. A great place to relax and unwind.
