Excellent comms with owner; comfy bed and furniture; well labeled and stocked/applianced kitchen; fabulous hot tub; very nice towels, secluded and private. Picking blueberries from the shrubs adds nice touch to breakfasts. No A/C in MBR, which can get warm in Aug.

Everything was really nice, the cabin is cute and cozy. The location is very private and quiet it makes for a very relaxing time. The hot tub is the best part of the entire cabin and it was such a nice and relaxing way to spend the evenings. The only issue was the bed in the master bedroom is very hard and not comfortable at all, the pillows were not very comfortable either.

Our experience in Molly and Kenny's home was amazing. The surrounding area was filled with things to do for our summer vacation and this home was the perfect home base. Molly's communication and details were great so we were able to quickly acclimate to country living for the week. The kitchen was very well stocked and extremely easy to cook in. The outdoor space is gorgeously maintained and our 2 year old adored going outside to "explore" and pick blueberries from the bushes around the house. The hot tub is very clean, easy to use, and a dream for looking up at the stars. We also were able to use the firepit a few times to roast marshmallows as a special treat. I highly recommend this cabin for a small family. We brought a few childproofing tools (gates, doorknob covers) with us, but most spaces were already perfectly safe with minor adjustments. We were there during a bit of a Vermont heat wave in July, but there were plenty of fans and windows to use to keep things at a reasonable temperature. The Wi-Fi is definitely a bit spotty, but that was just fine for us because we were able to focus on spending time outside instead of looking at screens. Thanks again for sharing your home with us! It was awesome, we hope to return again in the future to keep on exploring!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the Vermont Summer Cottage. The pics represent the cabin well - it is definitely in more of the “cozy rustic” category but the value is exceptional! Loved the open layout between the living and kitchen area and the main bedroom is nice and large with lots of windows for light (but shades when you want dark). For us though the best thing was the back deck and the fantastic hot tub! Molly was very nice and responsive. Would definitely recommend!

Such a perfect place to get away from it all, both rustic and classy. Very quiet with just the sounds of nature to accompany your thoughts and conversations. Lots to do in the area if you wish to venture out. A great place for singles, couples and families. We had a wonderful stay!

My family really enjoyed our time at Molly and Kenny's place. The cabin was super cute and accommodating. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. We even saw a shooting star while soaking in it! We would surely stay here again! If you book a stay, you won't be disappointed!

My husband and I stayed in this woodsy cabin while we explored the National Forest area for Green Mountain and White Mountain. It was such a lovely space. We built a fire every evening and morning to keep the chill off and used the well appointed kitchen to cook some of our meals. Loved all of the windows and the light. A cloudness night with a perfect view of the starry sky. Truly the majesty of life at this property.

It seems brand new and is very well taken care of. We enjoyed it every night of our stay. I will say that the mattress of bed we slept in was not the most comfortable - way too firm. It was also a little chilly in the mornings, but we could have easily lit a fire in the wood stove. The house was well-appointed and welcoming, and the grounds were well-maintained and lovely. We were sad to say good bye to this special place!

I enjoyed my week at this cabin. Unfortunately it was hot and then rainy for much of the stay. The kitchen was well equipped, the hot tub emaculate and the owners were very receptive to my inquiries. I would definitely stay again but probably pick a shoulder season instead of mid summer.

We were looking for a classic Vermont cabin, in a quiet, beautiful setting, and this was the place! As great as the pictures are they hardly do justice to the peaceful, cozy, warm atmosphere we experienced here. The location is superb, nestled in the eastern foothills of the Green Mountains. Hiking (Long Trail, Mt. Equinox, etc.), food (local cheese makers, Grandma Miller's pies, breweries), and great attractions (Hildene, Killington Ski Resort, Marsh-Billings National Park) are all within easy reach. But we also spent days just hanging around the cabin. Listening to the stream across the road. Soaking in the hot tub. Putting together a puzzle by the fire. Watching the trees through the beautiful windows in the bedrooms, living room, and kitchen. Grilling on the deck. This is a serene retreat from the hectic, on-stop, modern world. But the cottage still has all the conveniences we expected. There's wifi, TV, phone service, a washer and dryer, a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of sheets, pillows, blankets, and towels, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The owner was very responsive and attentive, helping us locate more wood, the towels, and offering suggestions on local places to eat. We were looking for a place a "little off the beaten path" which felt comfortable and like really being in Vermont. That's exactly what we found here, along with the conveniences we require, and a friendly host to guide us. We're already talking about coming back! It was a great week!

We had a lovely, peaceful respite at this charming cabin set amidst the trees in full fall splendor. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay — and besides taking a few short trips to take in the views (and to the Vermont Country Store) — we elected to stay by the fire reading and playing card games. Our host was both helpful and available. Thanks for a great weekend!

This cabin was in a lovely location, just on the outskirts of a small town. It was spacious and had good facilities, though we didn't initially realise that we had to pay extra for the hot tub. The hot tub was fun, and on a clear night we could see so many stars. The cabin is obviously used by the family with their personal possessions around, but this also meant it was well equipped which was very useful for us. We were pleased to see wild turkeys in the garden, but no other wildlife unfortunately. We really enjoyed our stay there and took the time to relax - as well as watching horror films about isolated cabins!

This cottage is the kind of special place that I look for in a summer rental, which has become hard to find. It is beautiful inside and out and has a wonderful vibe. There is an abundance of old wood, high cathedral ceilings and rows of windows bringing in light and stunning views of the trees all around. It is well equipped, comfortable and clean. It is not far from the quintessential New England town of Weston, but is also quiet and private. There is plenty to do in the area including summer concerts at Kinhaven Music Camp, and theater at the nearby Weston Playhouse. Hiking, farmer’s markets, antiquing and crafts fairs abound. I loved my time here and will be back!
