Very nice unit. The only things need to improve on is the driveway which is in bad shape and there were no instructions on how to operate the televisions.

Property exceeded all expectations! Very clean, roomy, modern kitchen & baths, very comfortably furnished, incredible views from top deck. Bottom floor gaming area was a hit with the younger members (and a few older ones too)! Very minor issues (dead remote battery, accent lights not working, slow draining tub). Will definitely stay here again!!

The only thing that was not good is they did not think about a large family needing big pots cleaning supply and toilet paper and garbage bags . Even when I called them they said they will bring it but never showed up.

Everything was as described. Definitely recommend.

Stay was amazing. Hot tub worked beautifully. The view was far better than expected and no pictures could do it justice. Only problem was that there were no paper products, no toilet paper, napkins or paper-towels, and no trash bags. This was not something expected or warned about. But the house was very clean and beautiful

House was big enough for 3 families (5 kids total). Drop dead gorgeous view. TVs In every room. Cool game room. Overall nice place.

The cabin fit our group perfectly! Everything was very clean and of good quality! Love how it is not cluttered with a bunch of items but just enough to make it cozy! The kitchen had 2 cooking spaces which was very convenient cooking for large group. 2 master suites and living spaces located on different floors, made it very comfortable for both our families! Plus the downstairs game area was such a treat and bonus! The view was so gorgeous and it was enjoyed a lot!! The location was about 4 minutes to the slopes which made it perfect for the snow boarders in our group. This home functioned perfectly for our group and would love to book next year!! Drawbacks but not deal breakers: there are no locks for bedrooms or bathrooms! Which can be a little awkward, but since our families are so close it was fine. The tubs and sinks need to be declogged. Master beds are firm, but not aweful. They have central vacuum which is amazing, but a simple broom/ dust pan could be more convenient to keep it swept while staying. Lots of stairs!!! The main kitchen and master is on the top floor which is why the view is so gorgeous..but be ready to climb some stairs! We didn’t mind bc it gave us a workout. Lol!! Overall…this house is our favorite!

Four families out at the mountains for a long weekend. Kids loved the lower level with games, TV, video games, and shuffle board. Wonderful deck and views. Perfect for our group.

This house is beautiful! The pictures do not do the view justice. My husband, our 2 kids, my best friend, and her husband and kids all loved this house. This house was plenty spacious for all 8 of us.

We LOVED our stay at the cabin. Super close to Beach Mountain for snow fun, and right down the street the Emerald Forest was a great place to hike. Very clean and stocked with everything you need! Thank you for sharing your home!

Ok so let’s start with the first thing that is noticed, floors were filthy and sticky. Bathrooms were not cleaned, and beds were not changed from prior guests. I had to send photos of the master bed showing pizza sauce and debris on the comforter and this was every bedroom. The kitchen was dirty, ceiling fans had about ½ of dust – dander stuck to them. The chair on the main level smelt very bad, the couches downstairs should be thrown away along with the rest of the furniture as this is supposed to be kid friendly and glass isn’t kid friendly. The air hockey table is broke, but they make it a big deal in the advertisement so throw it away. The hot tub had to be drained because it was very funky and that was done very late the first night. Yes, the water line broke but it was fixed by 3:45 so we never went in it. Lamp shades broken and just overall filthy. Everything that we used in the kitchen we washed; the coffee pot wasn’t emptied from the prior guest so that validated all our thoughts. The house needs a full deep clean, with all the Covid19 stuff going on I was extremely ticked to walk into this rental and see it look this way! I made them come and change all the sheets, blankets and pillowcases which I was told they would be there in the morning and didn’t show up until 7 pm when I was bathing my children. I have friends who own rentals and when I sent the photos, they confirmed that this was unacceptable.

The view is worth everything. This property was perfect for us. It had everything we wanted. We will definitely be back! Steep driveway so bring 4x4 and chains if you will be visiting during the winter!

It’s walking distance to some easy hiking trails with beautiful overlooks and is a 5 min drive to the town of Beech Mountain and the ski hill. Anyone with mobility issues may have some issues with the staircase between the floors.

We really enjoyed our time at Mountain Top Lodge. The cabin was very comfortable, the view was AMAZING. The kitchen was well stocked with all necessities. We would definitely recommend giving this cabin a visit for a fall getaway.
