The property was as awesome as the listing describes! We spent every day fishing, kayaking, seeing manatees, turtles and more. Everyone had a great time. The owner was excellent with directions and instructions of how to use all of the equipment and checking in. The downstairs was packed with floats we used every day, outside games, water shoes even! Plenty of dishes and a nice kitchen to do all of your cooking, along with a great fire pit for roasting marshmallows. The kids were excited to see a Mama and baby manatee and even a lady who sells popsicles on the river, definetly a great trip for all!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The property and amenities exceeded our expectations. The house is thoughtfully furnished, spacious, and set up to entertain. The lagoon and slide kept us occupied most of our stay. Outstanding aesthetic all around, and so much fun. The grounds and the river are beautiful. You have easy access to the clear, clean spring fed river. We really enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards provided. The hosts were friendly and very easy to communicate with. We had a truly unique, amazing time and we hope to return for a longer stay.

Great location, great rental & great experiences

The property was all that was promised and then some! It was definitely a slice of paradise on the beautiful spring. My husband and I brought our 3 daughters ages 23, 24, and 27 along with their significant others and grandson who is 8. Everyone had a blast. It doesn’t matter your age there is something here for everyone. Property was clean and well taken care of as well as all the extras. Instructions on everything you needed while using the property. We would absolutely stay here again. The only bad part was leaving.

We had multiple families stay in this home with us and we couldn't have been more impressed. The wildlife is amazing (from the back yard we spotted: manatees, turtles, frogs, fish, birds, and more). There is an abundance of kayaks and paddle boards. Not to mention being situated in between two different springs that are both just a short paddle away. As if the river and springs weren't enough - there is an amazing natural pool right in the back yard. As well as a dock for the boat. Publix and many other stores are within a 5 minute drive. The house was very well equipped with extra linens, towels, dishes, air mattresses, etc. We cooked almost all of our meals and never found there was anything needed that we didn't have. There's also plenty of seating outside and inside which is always a plus at any rental. The host was SUPER communicative and helpful. Responding quickly to any questions that came up. We will 100% be returning to this beautiful home.

This property is everything it claims to be and more. The river access is so convenient. We brought down boats and had no issues finding the property or storing the vessels at the docking area. The setup is perfect for two families with the four bedrooms equally divided by the living space. The home was clean and well-equipped. The wildlife is abundant; we saw manatees every day as well as fish by the hundreds and tiny frogs (so cute). The lagoon, WOW! We were a short (under two minute) paddle to the most magnificent sandy area that rivaled water only found in the Caribbean. The road coming in is kept mostly natural and it was beautiful but very narrow (be aware if you plan on bringing trailers). We didn’t want to leave and are already discussing our return trip!

All of the rave reviews are accurate from how wonderful Veso is to the incredible house and springs. It was just the family escape we were hoping for. The spring water felt magical to swim in and we spent hours in the pool (kids 7 & 9) and also enjoyed kayaking, reading in the screened in porch and playing basketball on driveway. The house was incredibly clean and well stocked.

It was a beautiful place to just relax… the peacefulness of the springs along with the happiness of the kids (they never got out of the water), it made for the perfect place to just unwind. Communication was great, and we had everything we needed. We will definitely come back again.

This place was truly amazing. Just perfect for our family and there was nothing lacking. You have access to everything you could need or want on a river vacation. The owners are very prompt with communication and very thorough. They really cared if we were comfortable and had everything needed. We will be back!

What a great place to stay! The home is comfortable and nice but the real enjoyment is the backyard. From your own private swim lagoon, lots of river access, and your own private dock. They had lots of toys, games, kayaks, and floats for the entire family to enjoy. The yard and activities were great for a family to spread out and enjoy the Memorial Day weekend! What a great Oasis!

Our stay on this property was .... stunning! Came with my kids and grandkids (3-8 yrs), and the property was just wonderful. The house was lovely with 2 separate wings, and stocked with EVERYTHING we could possibly need. The lagoon with slide was the most fun we've had in ages! The kids loved kayaking, and learned to paddle board. We saw manatees in the river outside the house. We went on lovely adventures just minutes from the house - the zoo, the mermaid show, and a rented pontoon boat. We're recommending this house to all our friends, and can't wait to come back!! Our family was looking for a peaceful and pleasant getaway for a few days. This was above and beyond what we expected. I was speaking with my 4 yo nephew at dinner and I said that I thought this place was Heaven. A little while later - he stated that yes, this place was Heaven. The description listed on VRBO is 110% accurate. You will have everything you could possibly need on a vacation whether you are staying for a few days or longer. The house is absolutely amazing and comfortable, the slide and the lagoon were lots of fun, and the river was clean, clear, and shallow for our whole family to enjoy. We used the kayaks and the paddle boards. We use the fire pit every night for s'mores. The yard was more than big enough to accommodate two children that love to run around. The grass is so green and soft - I haven't had my feet in grass that soft in a long time. The hammocks and the swings were a bonus. The interior of the house was lovely! The beds and linens were comfortable. The homeless spotless. This was the peaceful and pleasant place that we were looking for. This is truly Heaven on Earth! We are already planning our next visit! 😎

The property has much to offer for outdoor fun with fire pit, kayaks, paddle boards, corn hole. There are several spots to sit around outside including tables, picnic table, chairs by the water, etc. The clear water is beautiful and home to manatees. We saw several the first part of Dec. Also attentive and responsive host is a plus.

We had a fabulous time at this well-maintained, beautiful gem in Homosassa. The setup of the house was perfect for our family vacation and we loved the grounds and not having to leave our dog at home. The porch has a beautiful view and the location truly can't be beat! Fantastic communication with the host and we had no problems; if we had, I felt confident it would be resolved quickly. We enjoyed our stay so much that we will be returning. Highest recommendation.

Our stay here made for the most enjoyable family vacation ever! The house was clean, well-stocked, and big enough to accommodate my family of 8. Never before on a vacation were we able to have so much fun without having to run around here and there looking for entertainment for our kids ranging from 3-17. Also, never before has everyone felt so impressed, content, and happy. This property is a vacation in and of itself! I Highly recommend it and hope to come back to it someday.

This property is THE BEST property that my family has stayed at. It’s a cute home with a “two suite” setup, so it works great for two moderate size families who want to take a vacation together. All together we had four adults, three toddlers and two infants and the home fit us well. Even if it didn’t, you spend such little time in the home that it doesn’t matter. The backyard is where the fun is! The grassy area is a great space for bonfires, ball toss, cornhole (which they provide!), relaxing in the hammock, swinging on the swings. The pool is so unique being spring fed and the slide was a blast. It was a little chilly the time of year we went, so the pool wasn’t used as much but we still spent everyday outside. The kayaks were great and there was an excellent selection of kayaks and paddle boards, lifevests and other floats. If you have a child under 30 pounds bring your own vest, but besides that they had plenty of lifevests to use. We say manatees every day that we were there, and they would even swim right by the house munching on plants. It was such a cool experience! The house is located on a more private area of the river so even on a Saturday we only saw a handful of other people go by. The host is very communicative and kind. I felt like they would have easily jumped to help if I needed it, but our stay was perfect so no need. We are already trying to decide when we’ll stay again!

House was nice and clean. The backyard is amazing! We enjoyed the pool and waterslide lots, but the use of kayaks and paddle boards right on the river was so special. We’ve already booked a second trip!

We had the most incredible week kayaking, paddle boarding, and snorkeling all over the springs. We rarely left the property because there was just so much amazing opportunity for fun right in the backyard. We saw manatees, turtles, sting rays, and so many fish and birds, all within a 5 minute paddle from the house. We spent hours in the lagoon and on the river, and loved every minute. This property was perfect for our nature-loving family. Highly recommended!

Truly unique and charming waterfront property located on a narrow, peaceful and beautiful part of the Homosassa River. VBRO pictures accurately portray. The quiet, calm and serenity of the property is exceptional. Layout of house allows for privacy when desired, yet enhances community when desired. There are doors to separate bedrooms and hallways. The house is very clean and well supplied, including the kitchen and bathrooms. Lots of towels, including a big basket of beach towels. The host has succeeded in anticipating a variety of visitors’ needs. Lots of equipment for outdoor recreation and a closet full of games and puzzles. The quality of kayaking from this home is remarkable. We kayaked 3 day in a row using the equipment available there. A truly remarkable experience every time. Our favorite feature of this house was the porch. Spent hours relaxing and soaking up the river vibes. There is a lot to do within a few miles of the house. Good restaurants with water front dining, The Homosassa Wildlife Park is unique and well worth the experience. Its literally in the backyard of this property. The owner of the property is very responsive and wants to ensure that visitors have a good experience and can maximize the use of the house. We hope to return.

Everything, beginning to end was perfection at this rental!! Owner was super nice and accommodating and answered questions quickly. House was very well equipped and I can’t say enough about the lagoon😍. My family thinks it was paradise and we enjoyed every second. The large yard with hammock and Adirondack chairs, river, boat slip, kayaks and paddle boards were all so much fun and very relaxing. We stayed with our grown kids and our grandchildren and cannot wait to go back. Thank you Veso for sharing your home with us, the love and attention you put into it was very obvious ❤️. We only left once and that was to take the kids to the wildlife park, highly recommend that too.

Had an amazing experience at this beautiful property. The home had everything we needed for a river getaway. The kids (and adults) loved the water slide into the pristine lagoon! We did have issue with trash not being picked up from previous guests (so we had to keep our trash inside) but this was promptly addressed/communicated to us by owner and not their fault. The owner was readily available for all of our questions and concerns. Looking forward to staying again (if we can get a date:)

Enjoy nature at its finest. Lots of fun to be had at this property. Plenty to do for everyone including teens. Zero complaints of boredom during our entire 7 day stay. Everyone had a great time!

This is truly a special place. We’ve stayed here two years in a row and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Homosassa. The house is clean and comfortable and the property is just amazing. Being right on the springs with manatees swimming in the backyard and the private spring water pool is just magical. The house has several kayaks, paddle boards and plenty of swimming floats to use. Anyone who has the chance to stay here will absolutely fall in love with this spot and never want to leave!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The layout of the home was perfect for our 2 families, and it had everything we could have possibly needed. We can't say enough about how fabulous the outdoor area is. So many wonderful, fun family memories were made, and we hope to be able to return one day. Veso was a fantastic host and so easy to communicate with.

Our stay was a short one, but we were able to pack so much into such a short time! We kayaked, went to the beach (Spring Hill is great and not crowded!), swam in the lagoon, ate at Seller's and Crab Plant (MUST EATS!), and just RELAXED! The home and amenities were just soooo nice. Very well stocked pantry and goodies! We hope to stay again on the future! THANK YOU!!!

My family and I (kids- 8 and 5 years old) stayed here for a long weekend. We loved the location of the quieter water and the slide was a huge hit for the entire family. We kayak, paddle board and went to eat really yummy seafood 5 min from the house. We will definitely add this house to our repeated stays. Veso the owner was on top of everything and was so nice! Great job on this property!
