This is the perfect property if you want to go to the beach and have adults as well as children who need their own space. The garage conversion as a kid's zone is awesome! The house had everything we needed and great atmosphere.

The house met all our needs, we were a big groupd with kids varying in age from 6 months to 7 years old. The location and variety of acti ities around the house (ie. Hottub, fire pit, outside area, etc.) Were great for all of us. I would definately stay here again and recommend. I couldnt give a 5/5 because when we arrived (with an early check in) there was still laundry in the washing machine/ dryer, beds weren't made and a while room wasn't even cleaned. It was over all dusty/ dead bugs in the towels downstairs and windows and not the cleanest it could be.

Excellent local! Great for groups. Great for gathering, and plenty of private rooms for down times. Only downfall was the heat. Until they install screen doors on all exits for ventilation (the main house has only 2 little bitty opening windows in the kitchen- horrible design), I would only recommend staying here in the cooler weather. Anything above 75 outside makes the inside miserable! If they installed screen doors, then I would rate this a 5 star place!

Quiet little neighborhood, perfect for a small getaway. Beautiful jetty extremely close, was able to see some seals over there. House was very welcoming and comfortable, cute little walking trail to a creek in the backyard.

Such a relaxing getaway! The beach is just a short walk away and the hot tub was just what we needed. The master bed was unbelievably comfortable as was the couch. Has everything we needed a we would happily stay again!

The house was beautiful, spacious, and clean. The neighborhood is phenomenally cool— a short walk to the beach where we can watch seals feeding at the jetty and bald eagles circling overhead. The hot tub was a delight, and the beds were comfy. The kitchen left a little to be desired; the stove is either REALLY hot or REALLY cold. There was less cookware than we would have liked, but to be fair we were there for Thanksgiving; for a non-holiday trip it would be fine. The main dryer was out of order which meant walking to the garage with a basket of wet clothes to dry them. The lights were a little weird to Learn. Overall, a good choice and a good value—we would consider another stay (just not when we have to cook a big meal).

It was a lovely opportunity to just relax.

The place itself is comfy! It’s not overly modern but not overly outdated either. The little decorations around the house in the window seals, on the dressers, and around the house are cute and tasteful. The stove is AMAZING but beware the right front burner is super heated even on low. Having a convection oven is a wonderful thing. The hot tub was nice and used almost every night. The fire pit was an added luxury that we didn’t think we would enjoy as much as we did. It was wonderful to have that and the wooded area is glorious it gives you a wonderful feel of being with nature the outdoors with the beach close by and while enjoying the fire pit you can hear the waves crashing. Shower in the master bathroom was comfy and water gets so hot that I was in heaven. The majority of the lights in the house are dimmable which is neither here nor there but for us it was nice to be able to leave some lights on for the kids. The bed in the guest room in the garage is very comfy. Can’t say too much about the others especially the one in the master that feels like sleeping on the floor. The cons. We had several issues the washer isn’t being properly cleaned monthly as it should be and had mold in it and smells of mildew. The company “cleaned” it. I ran it through 4 cleaning cycles with bleach before it started to smell normal. The dryer thumped like it was about to die and at times would turn itself off but got the job done eventually. This hindered us being able to dry laundry during certain times. The people whom stayed prior to us must have had the time of their lives and Partied like it was 1999 there were sever empty beer cans behind the hot tub and along the trails from the back yard. The jets on the left side of the hot tub didn’t work they sent someone and they worked by the time we were about to check out. The lid to the hot tub was half broken and extremely difficult to take off. Which if not broken would still be a challenge for one person to do and depending on the person most likely couldn’t do. The cute outdoor lights that are strung outside don’t work. Which made lighting outside at night not very good. Even with the fire going. While going outside to use the bbq the deck gave out somewhere underneath and scared the living (insert censored word) out of us In the middle of the moment I thought we were going to go through. Thankfully we didn’t! The jetted tub upstairs isn’t being cleaned properly and all the jets and the air plugs had mold on them. I had to clean that along with the washer. In the end I ended up cleaning the jetted tub for half the jets not to even work. I was looking forward to using that and ended up not after all that work. The heated fans in the bathroom downstairs and upstairs don’t work. The light above the stove didn’t work. We weren’t notified of any of these issues. Then had to have people in and out during our vacation looking at things trying to fix them and so fourth. Which made out relaxing vacation not so relaxing. Ended up checking out with most all issues still remaining. Minor things to take note of: The pots and pans are less than desirable. No measuring cups that I was able to locate. I had to use a tablespoon to measure out 3 cup and if your wondering there is 16 tablespoons in a cup 😂 there is two kids plates but no kids silverware or cups really. It’s seems like most of the kitchen stuff besides the plates and cups are thrown together. There is absolutely NO cupboard space. If you are looking to stay for a long period and need space for pantry items unless you want to put them in the worlds largest and emptiest hallway closet upstairs you got no space. Which that closed is bigger than harry potters room it’s massive! The pantry in the kitchen that would normally be used for these things is locked. I’m assuming the owner of the home is using it for personal stuff. Overall: Our vacation was good we enjoyed being in Rockaway the town ...

Location was great, close to a nice beach, in a quiet neighborhood. The living area is set up nicely for people to spread out, but still be together. Fire pit out back was perfect, as well as the hot tub off the master bedroom. The house could use a deep cleaning, especially the kitchen cabinets (inside & out). The kitchen is not stocked with basic cooking tools, examples are no measuring cups or whisks. Garbage was never picked up, and we stayed a week... Some attention to detail would make this rental an A+!

We enjoyed our stay very much. This is the first time I have ever stayed at a home that was not ocean front or with a very large ocean view. I was so glad that you could sit on the front porch and hear the ocean. That was a very pleasant surprise. The house was clean (except the baby chair, yuck!). The king size beds were comfortable. The couch was very low for seniors but the chairs were comfy for seniors. The only complaint we had was the check out time. It was 10AM. not enough time to feed the kids and everything in Rockaway was closed for breakfast except Grumpys. They had a huge wait.

Outside lighting by patio needs improvement,,and there was small tree branches all over hot tub cover and deck. Kitchen towels did not smell very good at all.

Our family absolutely enjoyed our stay at Jetty Oar Knot (love the name;). There was plenty of space to cook, hang out, and sleep. Everything we needed was provided (towels, cookware, blankets, pack n play, etc). We would definitely come back to this spot.

Once the house warmed up, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I was pleasantly surprised with how well the kitchen was stocked. I was able to host Thanksgiving dinner for my Grandparents are flying out of Alaska. Vacasa has great employees who are skillful and attentive. We would definitely stay here again. Ree Ann

We were a group of 8, 4 adults and 4 kids. The house worked great for us but anymore and I think it might be too many. Luckily our kids were a little older so the 3rd bedroom not being in the main house wasn't as big of a deal. Things were plenty stocked for all of us and the handful of days we stayed. The close proximity to the beach was perfect (5minute walk), and the neighborhood was very calm and quiet at the time we went. The house itself was mostly clean but a close look proved it could use a deep clean (moving furniture in the bedrooms, around the fridge, cob webs in the room corners and bathrooms). Overall though a good place to stay, and if we head to the area again we'd be willing to stay here again.

This house was great for our large group, and we had a really nice stay. Plenty of beds, the hot tub was fantastic, and the living room was a great place to hang out, stocked with games and puzzles. That said, the listing was not terribly clear that some of the beds listed are in the detached garage with no bathroom available without going back into the main house. For adults it was mostly fine, but I wouldn't have wanted any of our younger kids staying out there overnight had they been with us. The house could also use a good deep clean. Lots of dust, cobwebs in the corners, very dusty blinds, dirty baseboards, spots on the carpet that seem to have not been cleaned well, used tissues left in the top drawer of one of the upstairs bedrooms. The tall windows in the living room are gorgeous and let in lots of light, however without blinds on some of them, the room/house heats up fast. The windows that did had blinds didn't have an easy way to close them for privacy. Only one of the three had a wand to close them. The information book in the house also did not match the VRBO/Vacasa listing in terms of checkout time and instructions. We went by VRBO, assuming it was most up to date. The house was great and we would consider staying again, but the listing needs some updating and the house needs a good deep clean.

We have been to this house several times and keep coming back. Plenty of beds, lots of amenities, clean and bright and close to the beach. We love it

The idea of this house is great. It’s big, spacious, has lots of beds but with it being so big, it needs to be cleaned better. Windowsills, baseboards, floor corners, they were all very dirty and it was obvious they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. We had an issue with the outer bedroom not being serviced but we took care of it ourselves and Vacasa was very responsive. Also, for a house that can sleep so many people, you’d think they would provide enough toilet paper and trash bags. For 3 nights with 7 adults staying, they provided two trash bags and 2 rolls of toilet paper for each of the two bathrooms. We obviously ran out and had to search the entire house for a spare roll only to find one on the very top shelf in the kitchen pantry. I think overall, it’s a good house if you need to entertain a large group but it definitely needs a deep clean more often then not. I stayed at this house for my bachelorette party two years ago and it was just as dirty and we had a similar housekeeping issue. I think just a little more attention to detail and cleaning and the house would be amazing!

A terrific house for a large group. Only gripes are burnt out lights on doorstep and bathroom. Needed more garbage bags.

We loved the house and location! The game room was a huge hit for my children! Super clean and nice. The only downside is it was HOT and it didn't have AC but other then that it was perfect!!

I loved all of the stuff it came with like the kitchen ware, the bikes, and the wood for the fire. I also loved the neighbourhood and the distance to the beach.

We loved the neighborhood as well as the home. You won’t find a better stay for the $. There could be some upgrades to the home, but nothing that would warrant a mention. The surround sound music system, hot tub, fire pit, and overall comfort of the home is pretty much solid. We will come back with the kids in a few month’s for sure.

The house had a lot of room. We loved the quit neighborhood and only a couple blocks from beach. We enjoyed the hot tub ( also had a lot of room ) and the fire pit was nice the only thing that bummed me out was the grill did not work properly but was no big deal. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again

It was a nice home. Spacious living room. Lots of movies & games for kids & families large dinning table comfortable . Nice large TVs for everyone to watch.
The bedroom in the back of the garage. The bed frame was broken upon arrival so we could not use the bed. The batteries were missing from most of all the tv remotes. And some pots were put away dirty that needed heavy soaked & cleaning the fridge had a shelf inside missing a bar so no food could be kept on the inside door. The kitchen was not stocked as well as many of the other homes I have rented. But otherwise it was a pleasant stay and we enjoyed our time. 😊

We were pleasantly surprised by this rental. LOTS of space for guests, potential for two maybe even three families. Nice amenities from television to hot tub to bikes and foosball table. Very close to beach and in a quiet tidy paved neighborhood. We loved it. We will book again if we can.

Quick and easy

Some cleanliness issues that were not satisfactorily addressed bu the management company. The third bedroom is in a detached garage with no bathroom. That was a major issue for us. There is no central air as it was listed on VRBO.

Good location, quiet. Nice beach access. Hot tub was nice. Back patio could use some maintenance. Won’t stay again, though, due to the third “bedroom” issue.
