Enjoyed the River and quiet after all the Derby crowds and traffic! Would stay again on my next trip up this way.

Great view of the river and nice place to relax after doing all the things in Louisville. The weather did not work out in our favor, but this place would be amazing in warmer weather. However, even with the cold, our kids enjoyed running and playing by the river, and laying in the hammock.

We had a great time staying here. The house is very cute, has everything you can possibly need. We really enjoyed the large firepit outside. We did some fishing and played games on the large backyard. There were also many board games inside so we played those when the weather wasn't as nice. Nice location, quiet area. I definitely recommend this place and would return if in the Louisville area. Thank you!

The owners are freakn amazing ( obviously ) because they thought of everything. The place to hang out is at the grills , picnic table & swing. The firepit is so nice and super close to the river.Everything is so clean & organized...enjoy!

This was our annual cousin’s trip. We wanted somewhere near an outlet mall and near water. We couldn’t get any closer to the water for sure! As women we liked that it was private, quiet and safe. It was a great and relaxing trip. The place was clean and smelled great. The inside is very comfy and well stocked! It was rainy and cold so we didn’t get to use the fire pit or enjoy the outside area. We highly recommend and would stay again!

My wife and I stayed here with our 1 year old son and 2 friends. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean and well equipped the house is. It has recently been renovated and looks great. Our friends and us love to cook and that was made extremely easy since the kitchen was very well stocked! They had everything you would need to cook a delicious meal. The views of the river are amazing and we enjoyed a night by the fire watching tug boats and barges drive by. The house is stocked with plenty of linens, cleaning supplies and everyday household items. We also enjoyed the selection of games provided as well. I would highly recommend staying here if you have the option as it is a great little hidden gem. We hope we can return again one day.

The property was very clean and new feeling. We felt secluded but we were a very short drive from great restaurants and attractions. If we ever head back to the Louisville area in the future, we would defiantly stay here again!

Perfect accomodation for a weekend getaway

Just what we wanted! Landlord was exceptional, went out of his way to make our stay the best.

We simply loved our stay at the Riverhouse, while we were in Louisville for our annual convention. The house is located up a nice grade from the river which allowed my husband to try his hand at fall Ohio River fishing. Not much catching happened due to the cold weather, though, he had a relaxing time anyway. The house is lovely, clean and has most everything that anyone should need. Property manager and owner communication was seamless and we really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for allowing us the privilege of using this wonderful place.

This place is absolutely amazing! Super clean, great outdoor space with games to keep us entertained. The details that have gone into this home truly make it a home away from home. Would definitely recommend this place hands down.

This place was amazing. We traveled from Lexington, KY to for Bourbon and Beyond festival. The views of the Ohio River spectacular, and so peaceful too. Great nature sounds you dont get living in the heart of a big city like we do. We never saw other people, LOL. House is stocked with everything you need. Communication great with property manager. Wonderful outdoor area for playing cornhole, badminton, star gazing and bonfires. We could not enjoy the outdoor area as much as we wanted because we were beat after 10 hour days at the festival. Well lit place. Lots of nice little touches around the house. Great wifi which was great. Nice hot showers. No problems at all. Great guide book for local bars, eateries and the like. Loved Jeffersonville. Quaint smaller town but so close to Louisville. would love to stay again when we don't have a festival so we can enjoy the outdoor space and town more.Highly recommend this place for couples or families.

We LOVED it (family of 5: kids ages 15, 13, 8). The property inside & out is perfect for families. Outside offers a lot - played volleyball, badminton & ping pong, used the bench swing a ton, loved lying in the hammock & used the wood pellet grill for making foil packs (a vaca tradition). The fans on the patio made the heat bearable. The inside is cozy, living room furniture comfy & views of the water from the windows were beautiful. Kitchen is bigger than looks in pictures & we enjoyed making memories sitting around the counter and at the kitchen table. The next door neighbors are delightful, the kind of people you wish you permanently live next to. They gave tips on places to go and restaurants to eat. The city of Jeffersonville was a wonderful surprise. We only knew of it due to the VRBO's location, but it really packs a punch - very good restaurants (The Red Yeti was our favorite; visited twice), historic candy shop, Schimpff's, was worth the visit, cute downtown area, a floating stage with [free] Friday night concerts, etc.. Some experiences were walking the pedestrian bridge from Louisville to Jeffersonville (a highlight), Louisville Zoo (wonderful), Mega Caverns high ropes course (loved this), & Kentucky Kingdom (glad to check the box, but it's an OK park; we live near Cedar Point, so not much beats that). Must mention the property owner is amazing. Gave a tour & surprised the kids w/ hot chocolate when he overheard we forgot some. Already planning our next trip here!!

A perfect stay! I can't think of anything this place doesn't have, inside and out! We didn't want to leave. When you say out loud to each other " I could live here" that says it all!

This house is FANTASTIC! It’s spotless. The decor is fun, the home is very comfortable. The owner is very easy to communicate with. It’s close to EVERTHING you want to do!! The volleyball net and the ping pong table was so fun in the evening! We enjoyed playing and watching the boats go down the river!

Our family throughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything was ciean and orderly. We had great communication with the property owner and neighbors. Everyone living around this property were very friendly and helpful. There were several outdoor activities our teen/college kids played, whiffle ball, ping pong, etc. the property was equipped and stocked with everything we needed to cook and live for 5 days, paper goods, condiments, etc. I will say we loved setting outside on the patio with the fans, watching the barges everyday. I would highly recommend this property, it’s a great separation from the busy city life, yet very close to a lot of tourist things to do.

Stayed here with grandsons while visiting several sites in the area. The boys would have been happy to just stay at the house. The loved all the outdoor games and watching river traffic. We plan to return!

Our family of four had such a wonderful stay at the river!! There were activities for the whole family to enjoy making it the perfect home base for exploring the area. Everyone in the neighborhood was friendly and welcoming. There was a storm that came through during our stay and the owner was very responsive for any needs or questions that we had. We hope to return in the future!!!

Location & great views! Fun watching the riverboats go by. So close to everything but felt secluded. The house on the river had everything we needed for a holiday weekend. Outdoor games and a lower level kitchen so you didn't have to run up & down stairs to grill or get drinks/snacks. The house was very clean and comfortable.Kitchen was well stocked. My family really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely rent it again!

This property was absolutely ideal! Clean and pretty- it is obvious the owners made this with love! We were in town for a basketball tourney and the set up was perfect for a group of girls (and their parents) to hang out. The views were amazing!!!!! Morning sunrises over the Ohio! Sun deck in afternoon! Evening breeze watching the boats and barges! The cornhole, badminton, volleyball, hammock, ping pong, and swings we put to great use! Thank you so much for having such a wonderful spot to enjoy!

This place was perfect for attending the Kentucky Derby. Only 20 minutes to Churchill Downs. We had 4 adults ladies and two girl teenagers. Place had everything we needed. Lots of yard games, towels, coffee and everything else needed for a kitchen. Had best time ever.

Unique property right on the river. Plenty of activities and located right over the river.

This property offered a much needed retreat for my husband and I. We enjoyed the surrounding nature and river. The property was clean, safe, and wonderfully decorated. We hope to return one day.

Property is well maintained and pleasantly decorated. Views of the river are wonderful. Area surrounding the property is quiet. Furniture was in good condition and comfortable. Mattresses were acceptable. Not bad but also not as nice as what we are accustomed to at home. I would definitely recommend the property and if we are in town again would rent it again.

Place was very nice and quaint, love the calm and quiet.....has everything u would ever need, if yr a tv person like my husband and i, no tvs in bedroom,, glad i bought my laptop or i would've had to listen to sports the whole time.....

This house had everything that I expect in a property plus some bonuses! The house was clean, location was great, beds were comfortable, and check in and check out were both easy. Some unexpected bonuses that we enjoyed included the surround sound stereo and watching barges on the river. Appreciated that there were plenty of towels and extra blankets. Loved the cozy seating in the living room that allowed our family a great place to watch movies in the evening after exploring Louisville all day. If our family is ever back in the area again we would want to stay here again.

We loved watching the barges at all times of the day. And Jim did a fabulous job redesigning the interior after the 2018 flood. Great location for Falls of Ohio and Louisville destinations.

This was a pretty, perfect place to reunite with friends and family. Although I was the only one staying, I had guests ranging from 2 to 62 years old. Very well stocked and cute as a button!

We had a great time. Our boys ages 11 and 6 loved all the activities. Great views and great places to eat on both sides of the river!

The house was very cool we loved that it was build on stilts and sat a great lot with wonderful views of the river. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. The house had all the necessities you need. We would stay again. Reed the property manger does an excellent job in making sure your check in goes smoothly.
