The place was very spacious for the 9 of us! The MBR is huge. Kitchen was well stocked with a large pantry/laundry room. The view was amazing! Don't play below the deck or you might have visitors.... the large 4-legged black fur kind! We had 3 black bears the 1st day! Only a few small issues: tear on screen and broken handle on door to deck, table on deck is very wobbly, 1 or more of the chairs needs to be fixed or replaced. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a nice stay at the cabin. We appreciate everything that was there. The floors seemed kinda dirty when we got there. Otherwise all was good.

Had a good ski trip experience. Only issue was no attempt to manage snow on drive, decks stairs etc. Four wheel drive is not recommended it is required to tackle the slope from the road down to garage. Great experience!

Everything was just like the description and it met our expectations completely! I feel maintenance needs to replace quite a few light bulbs throughout the house. The one and only light in the master toilet was burned out so I had to take one from a lamp and replace it. AND there wasn’t any toilet paper in the master bathroom so we had to purchase more. I would definitely stay there again!

We had recently had a family reunion at PineCone Manor and enjoyed our stay tremendously. I was wary after seeing some of the negative reviews, but much to our plesant surprise, found the property to be very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. ALL bredrooms had clean sheets and bathrooms had nice amenities. It would be nice if there were extra towels. The location was superb with lots of hikes in walking distance that the family enjoyed very much. The views were amazing. Would love to go back! One special note: Carolina Cabin rentals are an amazing company. They were very responsive to all our needs and all my family that came from all over the US was very impressed with their service.!

We had 4 four families meet at Pinecone Manor for a long weekend. We had a blast. The house was perfect for us. The kids loved the ping pong table and bunk beds. They played outside in the snow and could see 5 deer right in the woods behind them. So cool. The kitchen was well stocked, we ended up cooking most meals. The entrance to ski school is just a short drive from the house. It did snow quite a bit and we had no problem getting out of the driveway!

We had a great time at this property! There were a couple of minor issues, but nothing that would deter us from returning. We came when there had been 9 inches of snowfall in the previous week and had no problems occupying the space. A 4x4 was necessary for the last 1/4 mile of the trip but other than that, the roads were crystal clear even though the entire area was covered in snow. Our biggest areas of advice would be to: -Address the front door lock mechanism. It doesn't always power on and allow entry. -Deep clean better downstairs whenever a renter has a pet. (One of the kids had a hard time with dander left from a previous rental). -Allow a third bin for trash since the 2 on site are relatively small. Overall, I would give our experience 4.5 stars, mainly due to the issue with the pet dander. We plan to return next year.

The kitchen amenities need to be updated a bit. It is a nice cabin but needs some TLC. It would have been nice to have some Ice Melt in the garage or in the Utility room. The only way into the house proved to be slippery, young people can handle that but it makes it tough on older visitors.

I would have given it 5 stars but when I started to grill our dinner there was no propane in the tank so we had to drive back into town to switch it out. There was also a lot of trash that had been dropped off the back deck so I hiked down the hill and cleaned it up. I did not want to take a chance of our group receiving the blame for someone else's littering and laziness. The receiver to the surround sound did not work and it has some years on it so it could use an update with more modern technology. So, nothing really major, just minor things that would not keep me from booking this place again next year! Just sucks being back at work after a great weekend!

You have a beautiful Cabin in an amazing area. We truly enjoyed our stay and would like to leave a friendly review to help better please your next guest and further continue the success of your rental property. 1.Cleanliness and comfort: The bedding, more specifically the coverings, did not look or feel clean and the bedding all together was not comfortable. I understand this is a huge expense with so many bedrooms but at least address the Master Bedroom and other main rooms first. 2. Cleaning supplies: It would be beneficial to have some cleaning supplies available so that the guests can help maintain the cleanliness of the home especially in the kitchen after cooking multiple meals daily. Also providing more than two Garbage bags for the kitchen and dishwasher detergent. 3. Dog Friendly: We greatly appreciate that you offer a pet friendly home but it would be helpful if there was a larger area fenced in, which could be done near the front patio leading up the hill to the road. If this is unfeasible, then a better description of the usable land for pets would be helpful. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay!

The trip started out a little rocky. Ed at Cabin Rentals was not pleasant to deal with and offered no solution when there was an issue with our house on the first day. He called just saying our reservation was cancelled due to a septic tank issue. Ed called us the day of our reservation at noon and we were already in Boone, NC excited for our trip. Morgan at Cabin Rentals was on point and saved the day. Morgan offered solutions to our issues and worked with us. Morgan quickly reached out to find someone to come out to fix the septic tank. Ed just told us we couldn't stay and that we were in a pickle and probably should head back home. Morgan was a problem solver and saved our vacation weekend. We ended up enjoying our stay at Pinecone Manor. The views out the house are amazing. There is a hiking trail right by the house that we enjoyed. Thank you Morgan for saving our weekend!

We enjoyed our stay and the house was perfect for our needs. Kids downstairs and adults upstairs. Great location!

Bedrooms: > Bed mattresses were bad to sleep on (majority woke up to backaches). > Some of the sheets were itchy (maybe use better fabric/fabric softener). > The first bedroom by entrance smelled of dog feces. Living Spaces: > The sofas were dirty/sticky (maybe use sofa covers and change them out every reservation). > Please trim trees to get a better view of the scenery. > There were missing cleaning supplies (we tried to sweep our mess, but there was no dustpan). > Please keep a removable curb ramp in the garage so guest can use it to park their car into the garage since garage floor is too steep for majority of cars to drive up on. Games: > Please do a better upkeep of pool table equipments (sticks and balls). > We appreciate maintenance bringing us a new pool table set and ping pong paddles though we didn't get it until the second day. > One end of shuffleboard was broken. > Overall, please do a better maintenance of game equipments for the next reservation. > A hot tub would be a nice addition to the cabin.

There was rats,someone got stung by a wasp.but other than that it was fine

The staff at Carolina Cabin Rental's are customer service oriented. We will be back next year!

I have stayed here several times. Very nice and spacious cabin. Rental office should make sure the driveway is clear of snow so cars are able to get out of the garages once parked.

Kitchen needs to be better supplied for cooking House was not clean

We had a really good time. The property had plenty of room and was well appointed. A couple of things - The living room had 7 remotes and no instructions. Had to get assistance. There were two broken chairs upstairs, one of which my daughter in law fell out of with our grandson as she was trying to sit down. And the alarm on the hot water heater started going off the 2nd day we were there. We called the office and left a message but our call was never returned. So the alarm beeped the rest of the time we were there. But we enjoyed our stay and the property was perfect for our family.

The other families and ours had a great time at the cabin. It was a good size and the views were great. Thanks for having us!

Everyone in our group of 12 thoroughly enjoyed their stay at Pinecone Manor. Other than not having an adequate number of coffee carafes for the coffee machines, there were no issues whatsoever. Thank you Carolina Cabins!

wish we had a few more days at Pinecone Manor! Only problems: on arrival, trash was pretty extensive in garage & some red liquid was on garage floor...could have been a safety issue (slipping). Also, BOTH of the LARGE coffee makers had severe breaks in glass, didn't notice at 1st, coffee spilled & we put them in laundry room & used the small pot afterwards. THERE IS an IRON & Board in upstairs closet, so make sure that is on website, I would have left mine at home! Just had an awesome time, close to wedding venue (Beech Club). THank YOU!

My group and I really enjoyed our stay. The house was nice and spacious and had amazing views. Our only complaint would be the communication between you and the Beech Mountain Club. Some of my group was turned away from the club because they were told the club never received names from Carolina Cabin rentals. It doesn't affect the overall rating of the house but I hope the communication is better in the future. Thanks
