We loved our stay at the cabin! We were looking for a place that had a creek and it was even better than expected. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We loved stopping in at the brewery nearby and had pizza and the kids danced to live music. We played and explored the creek for hours.

This was an amazing place! From the inside out, everything was perfect. We are already looking at dates in 2024 to return and unwind and relax! Thank you Debra and Jason for sharing your beautiful home with us!

The cabin was very clean and well equipped. Access to the cabin was good as there was not an SUV required. The hosts responded immediately when contacted. We will definitely stay there again!

Such a lovely house! The owners have all of the necessities in the home, lovely furnishings and a beautiful property. My boys enjoyed fishing in the stream and exploring along the property.

The hosts were very communicative and easy to reach. They did a great job of making sure we knew how to get to the property and answering questions we had about things to do. The stream right outside the house was lovely and lots of fun to splash around in, with lots of gorgeous rocks to look at. The house was very cute and well-appointed - the only thing we missed having was a dishwasher, but it wasn’t a big deal. The first floor was very comfortable and the porch was great. The non-carpeted bedroom on the 2nd floor was not soundproof from the downstairs at all which was inconvenient (we originally had our baby in that room) but the other upstairs bedroom has carpet and did not have that issue, so we just utilized that one for the kids. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated all that the hosts did to make us comfortable!

We had an amazing vacation here! The property is just beautiful and the cabin is cozy. We enjoyed the cold clean river, the privacy, and peace here. We would definitely consider staying again in the future.

Awesome cabin with all the necessities you will need!

We had a weekend getaway with the family for Mother’s Day at this well-appointed little gem of a cabin and all I can tell you is that everything was above and beyond expectations! The back of this secluded cabin is nestled right up against the creek where we fished for hours sitting on the sandy bank, enjoying the calming sound of the flowing water. The creek is called Buffalo creek and it’s a stocked trout creek but unfortunately we were there right before the restocking so we didn’t catch or even see any fish. Was fun trying, though! The convenience store down the road sells live bait and you can check the internet for the trout stocking schedule. The home itself was super clean and the beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept on, so much so that I am looking into purchasing the same mattress for home. The back deck sits high and overlooks the creek and its banks for anyone who doesn’t want to venture down the gravel driveway and stairs to the banks. As for nearby there is Lenoir and Blowing Rock both just a bit away and Boone just a little further. Debra and Jason were beyond phenomenal as hosts, always answering questions very quickly and even checking in on us during our stay simply to see if we needed anything. Just incredible hospitality! We are already talking about returning, as this is definitely a spot to visit again and again and again! Overall? 10 stars out of 5! :)

We all had a wonderful time! The best part was being outside and enjoying the creek/stream. Water was cold, but the kids got in anyway. Debra and Jason were a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Quite simply this was my favorite place we’ve ever visited and we have stayed in a lot of VRBO places! The setting was incredible! The house was awesome and incredibly clean and comfortable. The beds were so comfortable and we just had a great time. And to boot I’ve never seen such great hospitality from hosts like we did here in Yadkin Valley. Loved it, loved it, loved it!

Stayed 5 days and our stay was so amazing, from the beginning to the end. Located in such a beautiful area and very rural which we liked yet close to Boone and Blowing Rock which we love.. Every year a few of us find a spot in NC to relax, fish, make fun of each other, and just enjoy being outside. Despite some bad weather, we had a great time here. The location is great, setting of having 3 sides of the property the stream, and not a house in sight was exactly what we wanted. The house is very nice, clean, well equipped throughout, and lacked nothing. We'll be back! Thank you, Steve

I loved the way the whole place was decorated. We did,nt need to take as much as we did it was very equipped. We love to cook. Enjoyed hiking and the fire pit

Very clean and well furnished.It was great reuniting with old friends. The only suggestion I can make is they need a mirror in the second bedroom upstairs. The owner had left a cake for us for breakfast. That was a special touch. We Will be going back for another visit.

this is the most beautiful cabin,and location we have stayed at. close to Blowing rock ,and Boon with your own private trout stream with the perfect area to tube or just play in the water.we hope to come back as often as possible. thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us...the Szabo family

Great place on the river. Kitchen was well stocked with quality cooking utensils, The breakfast cake they left us was delicious. Plenty of games and movies. We stayed here for a wedding a half hour away and also did some day trips up to Asheville , Blowing rock, and Sierra Nevada Brewery. It was always a pleasure to come back to Sweetwater.

Impressed with the location and the sound of the water flowing over the rocks, and the house was very clean, and nicely decorated. Would definitely stay again!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Sweetwater. The kids loved swimming, tubing and fishing in the creek. The house was well-appointed and we had everything we needed. This was a good home base for hiking and sightseeing in Blowing Rock and Boone. Planning to return!

This was our second stay at Sweetwater. The home is well maintained and has some nice upgrades since our last visit. You cannot beat this beautiful property. We spent a lot of time along and in the creek. Debra is a great host. Wonderful communication. We’ll be back (longer next time)!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful property! The pictures did not do it justice. It is more beautiful in person, and the outdoor space was amazing! Definitely hope to go back again!
