The house was just as described. The distance to the beach is awesome, especially when you have small children. There is plenty of room for a large family to enjoy the beach or take a short walk to lots of restaurants and shops. You couldn’t ask for a better beach house. The owners are quick to respond to any issue.

Our family loved this property! The house couldn’t have been better. The beds were comfortable, the laundry room was used daily ( a drying rack would have been useful though), the number of bathrooms was amazing but the most outstanding feature was the kitchen. Having 2 full size refrigerator/freezers was the deal breaker. One for food and one for beverages. We have stayed in many rentals throughout the world and I would have to say this was the most well appointed kitchen ever.
Then there’s Location Location Location! Going to the beach with 2 children under the age of 4 was a breeze. The beach was literally a few steps and about 42 stairs away. Plus having the pool for parents to hang out at while little ones nap made life that much easier for everyone.
The owners were so prompt when I needed to message them with questions. You won’t be disappointed if you book at Vie De Sol!

We had a great week at Vie de Sol. Water’s Edge is the perfect location for a short walk to everywhere you would want to go in the area - restaurants, ice cream, Peddler’s Village and all the shops of Rosemary, Seacrest and Alys Beach. And this house is on the beach walk making it easy to get to the beach with young children. The house is well equipped, spacious and clean. We hope to come back soon!

We really enjoyed our week at Vie de Sol. The location is so convenient for walking to Rosemary and Seacrest. The house itself is on the beach path making it super easy to access the beach. The showers have great water pressure and the pool was heated to 90 degrees for spring break which was just perfect. Very well appointed kitchen with TWO refrigerators, Keurig and regular drip coffee maker, crock pot and tons of plates, glasses, etc. We hope to return some day!

Very well equipped and great layout for a big group! So close to the wonderful private beach and a quick walk or bike ride to everything else. Bed were comfortable and the house was clean.

The location of the property can’t be beat! Easily walkable to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. It was also nice to have a pool to play in after a long day at the beach. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.
The cleanliness, however, could definitely be better. There was a lot of dirt, hair and old food that was underneath chairs and the couch, which created a cockroach issue (10+). We understand that same day turnovers can be a challenge, but when we messaged the host he said they’d be doing a thorough cleaning and review of the property after our stay.

The house is very well located and very well appointed. All the kitchen gear that you need is there- and it has 2 refrigerators in the kitchen which is great when on vacation!! The owners were very responsive to questions and very helpful. We would highly recommend this owner and this house!

We arrived on a Saturday, access was very easy with all the codes needed sent in advance. We did have an issue with the HVAC, but as soon as I contacted the owners, response was immediate and had an HVAC service guy there within hours. Turned out to be a tripped breaker outside, easy fix. Appreciate their attention on a Sunday morning!!!

Great stay overall. Good value. Amazing location. Renovations were good. Well stocked kitchen. Good accommodations for a family beach trip.
Cleanliness was disappointing. There was dust, dirt, and areas of the rental that were missed. Not awful and still livable - but definitely below average.
As far as check-in - somewhat to the point above, the cleaners were at the rental until 5:30pm. Nice people, but clearly rushing and not doing an optimal job because of that.
Communication with host was better than average, but not perfect. Responsiveness was good - typically 1-2 hours or less. Not much proactivity other than the welcome message (e.g. we had to ask about check out requirements, there was not a house manual with how things all worked, etc.).

The house is perfectly located to walk to the beach, shopping, restaurants and anything you need without a car. The beach chairs and private beach access for the neighborhood really make going to the beach an easy and less crowded Spring Break experience. The kitchen is beautiful and is well equipped, making cooking for a large group very manageable (it’s very nice to have two refrigerators). The heated pool was terrific for lounging at the house. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were updated and beautiful. It was a wonderful vacation rental. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

We had a wonderful trip to Rosemary Beach and really enjoyed this rental house. The house was super clean, well stocked, and very cozy. We loved the eat in kitchen and all new kitchen supplies. Having the guest rooms apart from the master offers privacy and everyone has plenty of room to spread out. The pool was fantastic, we spent so much time on the upper deck.The house location is great,just a few steps to the ocean,we also enjoyed the free concerts and outdoor activities that were steps away.Bicycles are a must here. Will book again

We enjoyed our stay at VieDeSol. There were some things that needed to be worked out in the beginning of our stay, but Jane and Tim were very accommodating and did their best to solve the issues. Their communication was excellent and helpful. We stayed with 5 adults and 3 kids and found the space to be perfect for our family.

We had a blast at Vie de Sol! We had issues with the the dryer and dishwasher. Both were replaced on the days we reported the issues. Talk about responsive!

Another Great Week...
This is the second year we have stayed at Vie de Sol and we cannot say enough about the property and owners. The house is beautiful and everything is meticulously kept. The proximity to the beach and surrounding restaurants and shops make having a car optional. We'll definitely be back!

Perfect Stay on 30A
House was clean and offed all the amenities my family needed for our vacation. Located in a quite neighborhood steps away from the beach and shopping at Rosemary and Seacrest. The house recently received an upgraded kitchen and it worked out well for cooking fresh local seafood every night. Overall great time and was very relaxing.

This is a nice house in a great location. Very close to beach as well as restaurants and shopping. The owners were very responsive to one issue we had. I recommend renting for a great vacation in the Rosemary Beach area.

Thanksgiving Week- Vie de Sol
Vie de Sol is a wonderful house in a location just steps away from the beach. Loved having the heated pool too. It is perfect for a family vacation. A great time was had by all!

Great house, location & owners
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Rosemary Beach. This beautifully remodeled home is just steps away from the private beach access. The kitchen is fully equipped with 2 refrigerators and stocked with everything you need to cook a wonderful meal for your guests. The owners are extremely responsive and truly care about your visit to their home. Do yourself a favor and book your stay here.

Nothing short of AMAZING!
First, I will start by saying, we have a yearly couples trip. We made reservations in January with a realty company for our Sept trip. They cancelled our reservations 10 days before our trip! Thankfully, I had saved "Vie De Sol" to a trip board! I couldn't believe is was available! I sent an email! The response was nearly immediate! We were booked within a few minutes!
The hosts are so quick to respond! Sent every detail we needed about the arrival! This home is absolutely AMAZING and as described. Pictures are exactly what you will see. Three king suites. One on each floor was perfect for our three couples to have their own space. Eating breakfast on the porch was perfect. View is beautiful. This home lacks for nothing! From the time we arrived, our group was asking me to check for next year! Our trip was perfect!

Family Trip 2021
My husband and I rented this house for our family with our two sons and their families. The house was very comfortable. The pool worked out great for our granddaughter who is 8 months old. Using a code to get in and out of the house and property worked very well. The Rosemary Beach area was perfect. You could walk to the stores.

Perfect Location
Two families stayed at this home in Seacrest/Rosemary beach area and it couldnt have been a better stay. One room on the top floor, two rooms on the main floor and 1 on the bottom with plenty of bathrooms, one for each room. The only downside is the size of the living room/dining area for any more than 6 people, but that downside was far exceeded by the literal steps to the private beach and steps to restaurants. We didnt drive anywhere except for the grocery store once we arrived. Owners were great with communication before and during the week and while the hot water stopped working one morning it only lasted for about 2 hours before they had someone out there and fixed!! We will be looking at this home to stay again in the future.

Great Location, Great House
We really enjoyed our visit to this property. It is in a great location. Extremely nice. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything we needed. I would certainly stay here again. The owners are very responsive and helpful. The only negative was that the internet was a bit slow. But otherwise great place.

Great location! Space was good for our family. Had all items for beach and pool.
Wish they included beach towels. Also, wish they updated the furniture a little. It’s a beautiful house but needs an update! Would definitely recommend!!

Perfect Beach Vacation
We had an amazing week at this property! We were very impressed with the quality of everything, from the cookware to the comfortable beds! Everything was top notch! We have stayed at other beach houses where cookware, kitchen items are lacking. This house is not lacking. The beach access can't be beat. Everything was super easy and convenient, as a vacation should be. We have already begun to plan our trip back for next summer.

Great house in a great location
We had a great week at this property. Everything was just as pictured and as described. The close access to the beach was wonderful, and the remodeled bathrooms were gorgeous. We loved being able to walk to all the shops and restaurants in Seacrest and Rosemary Beach. We also walked to Alys Beach for dinner one night - it was a longer walk but definitely do-able. We would definitely love to stay here again!

Perfect location and great house!
Right from the beginning the owner was very responsive and professional. House was exactly as advertised and Rosemary Beach and surrounding areas were even better than we imagined. My kids had a blast on the beach which is literally a short walk away. Everything was awesome!
