Excellent location in middle of town. Food excellent

Great location and easy to get around. The rooms are a bit outdated but spacious. The restaurant was very good and the service friendly and attentive. For sure the parador is an impressive building and has a beautiful court yard with bar. It's certainly a memorable stay!

The beds could have been better and the doors don't close very well.

delightful old castle converted into a spacious hotel. we were able to go up on to the ramparts and have panoramic views over Zaffra! Large , comfortable room and characteristic setting.

it would have been good if a light breakfast or tea / coffee had been included.

The hotel is a stunning historical building. The bedroom was large and the restuarant was good.

We were not able to get a double bed whihc we only found out when we checked in.

We stayed here as the parador is in the old castle. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed looking around the castle ramparts, with the views of Zafra. We were happy to park on the street (white zone) without charge, a short walk away.

All windows have bars. I understand those bars are part of the building but they don’t make me feel comfortable. The parking is somehow difficult, because the hotel has no parking and if you want to park in the hotel surroundings, you need to pay per hour, from 10AM till 10PM. otherwise, you need take your car away from downtown…

Beautiful building if a bit stuffy inside

The central courtyard had a lovely fountain which was overshadowed by awful piped music

the master suite with original features, very atmospheric. also the huge beautiful private terrace.

The hotel is quite charming, with a very interesting history behind. Location is perfect, right in the middle of the medieval town, as well as easily accessible. Large bedrooms, friendly and helpful staff, and overall ambiance, makes it a very nice and recommended stay.

Beds could be a little bit more comfortable, as I personally found the mattress not as soft as I would have liked it :)

Fabulous large room with huge comfortable bed and great bathroom. Restaurant service and food were impeccable both at dinner and for breakfast. Can't fault anything. Wish we had been staying longer.

From checkin to checkout all was great. Fantastic room with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast excellent taken outside.

Only one bar staff on duty. And around 6:pm it was very busy with non residents. So service was very very slow.
