Great location, Beautiful views…

Lots of stairs but was great exercise…

Everything about this property was fantastic and wonderful!! Roberta sent us a very detailed video on where to park our car and how to walk the steps to the property. She met us at the gate, gave us very detailed information about the area, including dining options. Then she encouraged us to put our feet up and rest for a while! Which we did!! We opened the door to our balcony and listened to the sounds of the ocean and Praiano! It was heaven! The views from our room helped create a sense of ease and calm - overlooking the sea! Our room had everything we needed, including a spacious shower. The daily breakfast created by Julio was incredibly tasting and filling! Oh, how I long to eat breakfast again overlooking the beautiful Mediterranean! Julio even made cappuccino with non-dairy creamer for me! I would highly recommend staying at Il Frantoio in Praiano!

The view from our room and the grounds were absolutely stunning! You can see all of Positano and the beautiful mountains along the coast line. The breakfast was the best we had on our whole trip and the views from the patio where breakfast was served was incredible. The hosts were very helpful and went above and beyond to help us out. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Praiano!

The stairs weren't too bad seeing that we are in good shape, but for older people it may be difficult.

Giulio really looks after the place really well. All the other guests were really nice also. we were really lucky to find such a beautiful place

It was the perfect spot to relax in comfort and enjoy a beautiful view of the coast and the staff are exceptionally kind and accommodating! Roberta helped make all our arrangements from getting us to and from the Villa, having porters ready for out luggage, and even booking our covid tests the day we left. We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxed, stress-free stay.

Just a heads up that you’ll need to walk up and down a significant number of stairs anytime you head out. This is true for most properties on the coast and its what gets you the beautiful view but just be mindful in case you are not particularity active, have an injury or are busy on your feet ahead of your stay.

There is nothing not to love at this property!

Everything was beautiful, very helpful hosts, extremely comfy beds and a simple but great breakfast. We were very happy and we didn't want to leave! The pool was quiet and the poolside mini bar was always well-stocked so that is a bonus. The best bit for me was the ability to pick fresh fruit, veg and herbs from the garden, we made our own bruschetta from the tomatoes and basil and we picked the lemons to go in our G&T - everything was so fresh.

There were one or two interesting stains on the bed linen and a few strange hairs about our room / on our terrace when we arrived. We also underestimated the steps to get to the property - around 210 steps down to street level (where all shops and restaurants are) and around 600 steps down to the beach - pretty hard and tiring to do in the July heat and humidity!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The pool area was lovely and breakfast was delicious with lovely views from the terrace each morning.

The location was magnificent for the views

The amount of steps to get up and down into town is fine for a fit couple, but might be a bit difficult for families with children or people with less mobility.

The owners/management of the property were so kind. Our flight was delayed and they waited for us for check in and were so patient with us. Mr. Giulio was so so kind and helpful. Anything we needed, he provided immediately. Also, Ms. Roberta looked up excursions for us and provided us with information about things to do. Overall, everyone was so so helpful to us. The breakfast in the morning was great with variety and coffee/tea - something for everyone even picky eaters (fruit, bread, eggs, jams, nutella, honey, etc). The best part was enjoying your breakfast with an amazing view of the water. They cleaned the rooms daily which was great because you would come back to fresh towels and everything looking tidy. The location was perfect and you had access to everything. There’s a lot of steps so be aware and make sure you bring comfortable shoes but it is doable for anyone. There is an amazing grocery shop close by and a shop where you can buy beautiful dishes and souvenirs. Also the bus stop is right there as well if you plan to travel to Positano or need a taxi. Everything you would need is available to you. Great restaurants as well. I can’t think of a better place to stay than this villa, we had such an amazing experience and will certainly be back. I would recommend this place to anyone planning on traveling to the amalfi coast. Praiano is one of the best places you can stay and this specific villa is THE BEST 10000/10

We had a large group. The property at Villa Il Frantoio and Lilmar was perfect for our group. The location in Praiano is excellent and the view is unmatched. The true beauty of this property, however, is the staff. Our group of 8 people was going on a tour of Pompeii an hour before the normal breakfast time, and they went above and beyond to make sure our group got breakfast by opening breakfast an hour early that morning. Leah’s breakfast was spectacular every morning!! Every time I reached out to anyone on the staff, I heard back immediately. Very responsive and did their best to make sure we were happy and all our needs were met. I would absolutely recommend

There was nothing that we didn’t like…. However, just a few things the property could improve upon for the next guests. In the villa apartment, the stove did not turn on, and there were no matches in the apartment provided. ( easy fix)

Breakfast was good. Views were great. Pool was nice. Friendly and helpful staff.

We arrived at approx lunchtime and just used the intercom outside the property and the lovely Roberta came and let us in and showed us around. Nice little snack on arrival too. The staff were very helpful to us with directions and recommendations.

There was nothing to dislike but the area is on the side of a mountain so be prepared for many steps. This had its good points though, You could eat all the delicious food and work it off at the same time.

The Villa Frantoio was everything and more than I could have expected. A phenomenal location set on the hillside with spectacular views of Positano and the Li Galli Islands. At the Villa, owner Guilio, assisted by Roberta, take special care of their guests’ needs. I stayed in the roomy and unique La Molazza Suite complete with an olive press. perfect for an EVOO aficionado. I can’t say enough about the wonderful week I spent at the Villa Frantoio. I will return!

The views from the villa and the breakfast place are amazing. Garden is stunning and very well taken care of by the owner. Staff is very kind, careful and helpful with any request or sharing of information. We loved to stay there

Swimming pool is small (difficult to have a big one in this area) Difficult access with luggage. The entry is about 400m away from the road, after many stairs going up and down

We had a wonderful time. The host was incredibly gracious, making us dinner reservations each night and always happy to bring a Spritz to the pool. Each unit comes with a private patio. The pool is wonderful. The jacuzzi doesn't seem to heat up but it wasn't a bother because it was quite hot. Both beaches are walking distance, but be prepared for lots of steps!

The perfect place to stay on the Amalfi coast. The rooms have a cozy feel, very comfy beds and nice temperature in the heat of summer. The view from the balcony ist outstanding und the lovely staff make you feel at home. Breakfast is also very good with vegetables and fruits from the garden surrounding the property. The pool area is a nice place to hang out and refresh when you're not up to walking the steps down to the beach. There are a few nice restaurants in walking distance and the view is amazing everywhere you go.
