Onze kamer was ruim, met een comfortabel bed. Het hotel heeft een groot zwembad. Het is er aangenaam toeven.
We dineerden een keer in het hotel en dat viel tegen. Vrij smakeloos.
Het ontbijt was ok.

L'emplacement que l'on découvre seulement une fois rentré dans la propriété est magnifique. Les bâtiments en pierre sont superbes. La chambre plus moderne est spacieuse, lumineuse, bien équipée et parfaitement propre. La piscine est très agréable dans un cadre totalement arboré. Un régal.
Les alentours accessibles depuis l'hôtel à pied regorgent de balades et d'emplacements à la fois pieux et chargés d'histoire.
Nous y reviendrons avec un grand plaisir.

The outside of the property is amazing. Obviously a lot of money spent making it look amazing.
Rooms were like hospital rooms. Very clinical. Not at all welcoming. One of us tested breakfast…the cup saucers were also plates. The pastries looked fresh but not tried. Powdered orange juice in a machine, take a tray like a school canteen. Dreadful. I had a cup of tea.

Lovely spacious clean room and decent bathroom with shower. Good quality bedding and an excellent bed.
The breakfast wasn't great and it really should be considering the amazing locally available fresh ingredients. Particularly the fruit and fruit salad offering. Poor coffee was a shame.

We had to move to 3 different rooms. In the first the Air-Con was extremely loud. Then we got another room, after we moved there suddenly we had to move to another room because it had a carpet and we had a dog (which they knew).
The whole property is large, but very rundown (the owner is the church).
The bar is a joke, opens only after 7pm but no-one was there to serve. On the dinner one of the 3 waiters was intoxicated, could hardly walk straight.

This hotel could be so much more!
1. A beautiful courtyard where umbrellas were never raised in the blazing sun, and where waiters or menus were never seen. what a waste!
2. Food was underwhelming, especially breakfast.
3. No tea or coffee facilities in the room, but a horrible dispenser downstairs. Coffee undrinkable
4. No mini fridge in the room, but a small chest freezer downstairs???
5. Swimming pool is NOT heated, unless you consider the sun on it
6. The swimming pool is used by the local population drifting in, and we even had a morning where it was full of classes of local ladies doing exercises. Hilarious!
7. Situated in an area that does not really cater for other eating ideas. The couple of restaurants in the village not enticing. Not much in the village to be honest

Got locked out at 9:40 pm while taking my dog out. The hotel gave me a code for late entrance (after 10), but this is not only true for outside gate but all entrances within the gate as well. There was no staff around at all, they must have left early. Luckily another guest arrived and let me in.

We loved the location, surrounded pretty gardens. The pool and pool area was also nicely done.
The restaurant felt like a canteen- really bad lighting and not inviting. Also the area around the reception could have been more welcoming- maybe change the chair arrangement.

A beautiful building, spacious rooms with top class renovations. The bed and linen was perfect!
What a pity we couldn't have dinner on the terrace which would have been a beautiful setting.
