We are southern Californians who have a son that went to college in Maine, and upon graduating two years ago got a job in Boston. We also have two daughters in college in the midwest, and a senior in high school. This was our first east coast Thanksgiving as we all decided to come our son's way. We were also bringing Grandma, who had never stayed in a VRBO. We wanted to find a house that was large enough for all of us could spread out, but at the same time cozy and homey. This house was absolutely perfect. I loved the open kitchen, dining, and living areas. There was a huge counter where we cooked an entire Thanksgiving meal with plenty of space and not be cut off from the family members watching football or playing pool. There is plenty of seating with the huge couch and chairs in the family room, and throw blankets as well as a cozy fire. The movie theater was amazing, and grandma got to pick the movie for her birthday - she's 82. She chose an old movie (not one of the 300 the owners had), but the owners were very gracious and facilitated the purchase for us. The owners were lovely and accommodating from beginning to end - they also suggested a bakery for a birthday cake which was phenomenal (we got pies and muffins there too) and hand-delivered a blender and hand mixer so we could complete some of our Thanksgiving recipes. Bedrooms all great size - master is huge! and all have their own TV. The other bedrooms -and the bathrooms are Jack and JIll style, so everyone has an en suite bathroom, except for if you use the loft area with the bunk beds for kids. in a word this house was PERFECT.

This is an outstanding property, perfect for a wedding, rehearsal party, and family reunion. The home was better than advertised with every amenity you could want. Excellent in every way!

Something for everyone at this resort-like home. The kids had a blast on the tennis/ basketball/shuffleboard court and in the heated pool. This home has so much space for gathering together as well as big bedrooms and space for privacy and quiet conversations. We all hated to leave! Thanks Jeff!

My family and friends had a wonderful time hanging out with each other for a 40th birthday gathering. The weekend was rainy, but that doesn't matter when you are staying in a home like this! We loved swimming in the rain, and watching movies in the theater. We would highly recommend staying in Jeffery's home!

We were 6 adults, 2 older teens and four under 12 kids. Everyone had a great time. The open concept of the kitchen, family room and billiards room was great. The interior could use a new painting and some updating of furnishings: but we had fun. The tennis court and large pool were used every day. Highly recommended

There was room for all of us at this home. The grill and pool were used daily and we did use the hot tub at the end of the week. We had some questions with the theater room technology and they were answered immedidately on the phone. Never did figure out how to use the master bedroom TV, but we didn't bother the owners so that's on us.

The house was so beautiful. We were all so comfortable, and it’s got a great location. What a great place for a family get away! Our three year old granddaughter said, “I’m sad we have to leave ‘Cake’ Cod”! Many beautiful memories were made that will last a lifetime!

The home was beautiful with lots of activities. The host was very accommodating to any requests that we had. Everything went very smoothly. I would definitely book this property again only next time I would like to stay at LEAST a week!! It was a perfect place to stay on the Cape!!

We rented the property for this past weekend and I wish we could have stayed longer. The house was immaculate, clean, spacious and fully equipped. We're very satisfied with our stay. The owners are very nice and kept an open communication through out. Thanks Jeff and kim once again for sharing your amazing home "RESORT", and doing everything to make us feel welcome. Fantastic house even in January when we couldn't use all the outdoor amenities. Jeff was a great host and our family enjoyed our stay immensely. Next time we will book in the summer!
