Room was tiny, tv didn’t work and there was no hot water for a shower

steps and slopes in and out of the bar area and to the rooms had not been de iced or treated. This was very slippery and dangerous especially for our disabled companion.

The room was nice but no spare blanket it was very cold the heating went off and no controls!

We had our Christmas do the food was cold the room we were in was freezing and most ppl left early because of it.

The staff were rude and not helpful. Our room was damp, we both woke up feeling rough. Music in the restaurant was so loud we had to shout across the table and then it was pounding through our room until late. The fire alarm went off for ages at 1am. There were no staff around in the morning to complain to.

We stayed at The View for an event at the nearby Hatfield House and so only needed overnight accommodation. The twin room was spotlessly clean and the facilities were good. The room overlooked the golf course and was very quiet. Breakfast wasn’t included in the price, but we paid for breakfast which was good. The atmosphere was relaxed but efficient. I would be happy to stay at The View again.

Great value for where we needed to get to in London and we were driving so easy enough to get too. The beds were really comfortable as well.

The staff that checked us in we’re great and we’re really helpful, but it’s a shame that the team in the morning weren’t quite so helpful and almost rude and unorganised - we had paid upfront online for the room and was asked on multiple occasions to confirm this, even when leaving they asked us to stay and wait while it was confirmed - again. We thought we had booked breakfast via booking.com and the manner in dealing with this when they decided we hadn’t, was so unprofessional and almost uncomfortable after waiting for a member of the team for quite a while to be served. Room didn’t have hand soap provided for the toilet which is a big no for me, thank goodness we carry hand gel now! The fan in the bathroom was also unbearably loud. It also wasn’t set up for two people, I.e complimentary drinks/towels, even though I had to fill out who was staying in the twin room. We had such a great memorable weekend and it’s a shame that this is what we remember as part of it. Maybe I’m not used to prices in the south but for the price of the room we expected at least a normal service.

Washroom door lock doesnt work, it should be checked and maintained properly. Also the entrance and and exit system is not so easy. its something complicated and with big luggage, its real problem.

Location perfect, Manager and staff excellent. Professional, friendly, and very accommodating, nothing was to much trouble. Good amount of tea/coffee, towels and bathroom products. Thank you.

No vanity mirror above where the dressing table/shelf was situated.

Rooms comfortable and quiet. Staff friendly.

Everything was great, just not much to choose for breakfast.
