La propreté, le papier peint qui se décolle, et qui n’est pas réparé, comme dans la chambre de ma copine, du calcaire partout dans la salle de bain, pas au niveau des trois étoiles que je réserve d’habitude car pas de bouteille d’eau d’accueil, ni de frigo ni ni de bouilloire…

Ras. Si ce n'est que le prix est plus élevé qu'avant pour une chambre moins bien équipée (moins de place pour travailler, plus de set d'accueil : bouilloire, café, thé, tisane) et une salle de bain non refaite : propre mais un peu hasbeen De surcroît obligation de prendre le petit déjeuner (ce qui le porte environ à 20 euros : prix de la chambre était aux alentours de 105 euros sous Mercure et 127 euros Ibis Style : la ficelle est un peu grosse et tout cela passe pour du home staging à le Plazza pour faire passer la pilule !

Hotel was in the process of changing branding from Mercure to Ibis so a bit chaotic. We had asked for a secure location to leave our bikes which had been agreed, but in the event we had to leave them chained outside to the swimming pool! Evening meal was poor and overpriced.

Bed comfortable

Booked a table in the restaurant, which the receptionist confirmed, as he move it to a later time as it was busy. Planned on having a drink before dinner, but was then informed there was no restaurant booking. After driving all day up from Spain, this was the last thing we wanted to hear. The new receptionist recommended a restaurant to us, which we went to, which was quite good.

Breakfast was good. Competitive price, so you get some downside.... Free parking Everything in the city is within a short drive, walking is no option (unless you like to walk 30+ minutes).

Really irritating that nearly all the employees only speak french. And that menu cards etc. are all only in french. Google is your friend here, but still (in my experience this is normal for france - but Mercure is an international chain, so I expected more......). Employees did try to do their best. Room for 2 adults + 2 children looked like a normal room with the couch turned into a bed (but you pay -a lot- extra). Not much room left beside the two beds. Did not feel like a family room. No airconditioning. No mosquito net on the windows. 20+ degrees celsius => Sweaty nights.

They have a pool, spacious rooms, clean, comfortable, surrounded by a garden great location next to the highway exit (we were on a roadtrip) eleven minutes away from Cerza zoological parc. Next to a shopping / restaurant zone.

There was a manager in the morning that was not very kind, or rather cold. I didn’t like the way he got upset cause we didn’t book breakfast in advance. The buffet though varied enough and nice was not “refilled “ often. There was a very nice and kind server but the rest of the staff seemed kind of uncomfortable with the management and more worried about that than anything else. Maybe I’m wrong. But in general a nice stay and a good experience.
