Ruhige Lage

Frühstück ist sehr gut - alles da was man braucht und es wird immer schnell wieder nachgelegt. Das Abendessen ist hervorragend und dem Koch gebe ich 10 von 10 Punkten. Die Unterkunft wird im Famileinbetrieb geführt, Bei der Dekoration wird bis ins kleinste Detail auf alles geachtet und ist dennoch nicht übertrieben.

Vielleicht der fehlende ebenerdige Zugang, Zimmer sind nur über Treppen zu erreichen.

shower drainage was not working well but other than that everything was quite well

The restaurant is excellent. breakfast is good. Sauna etc a real bonus. it’s well located for the town and not to far from the ski slopes. free parking which is a plus now in Winterberg.

The room smelled heavily of dog. I know the hotel accepts dogs , but this shouldn’t be noticeable to the next guests.

Lovely family hotel with great breakfast and cosy restaurant for tasty dinner. About 10 minute walk to town centre, quiet location with easy parking. Very friendly staff and accommodating for young kids. Highly recommended!

It was quite warm in the room even though it was December and we turned the heating off. We solved this by opening window for some time before going to sleep, then it was ok

The breakfast was super. The room was very clean, the beds very comfortable. Dinner was very good indeed.

There wasn't anything I didn't like

Family owned and operated since 1968. Lovely patio area to enjoy a beer before dinner. Tastefully decorated dining room and chef prepared excellent venison gulash. Guest house room on lower level was small but clean and adequate for a one night stay. I would return to Hotel Forsthaus again. If stairs are an issue for you, mention at booking. Oh, and the breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious!
