Small hotel in central location. Very quiet and comfortable. Lovely views of old town and lake. Delicious breakfast with good choice. Good sized rooms. Kettle in room. Breakfast staff very pleasant.

Decor quirky. Yellow and orange rooms a little hard on the eye.

Fine location within walking distance of everything. On the very island of the Hansestadt.Nice and colorful room with a view. Not part of a chain. Attentive staff and a very fine breakfast. Parking is easy and reasonable. A fine point of departure for exploring Lübeck.

Be aware that there may be many stairs. Our room was on the 4.th floor. Fine for us - but be certain to be fit for the exercise. :-)

Lovely spacious double room with a pretty outlook in a gorgeous old style hotel. Delicious breakfast provided every day. highly recommend this hotel.

A minor thing but important for a traveller - the wifi was not good and I had difficulty checking and making future travel bookings.

Hotel is in the heart of historic Lubeck, in the nice and quiet street. The hotel is marked as only 2 stars but we felt ourselves excellent in it and had everything that we need. Breakfast was super with a wide variety of choices - salads, cheeses, meat dishes, hot egg dishes, desserts. Wonderful, friendly and attentive staff. We also were glad that staff speaks English.

The location just 20 minutes by foot from the central station in the quiet and beautiful area in the old town. Through my room window I could see their gorgeous back garden and Krächenteich. A water cooker is available in the room with various and good quality tea and coffee options. They provide homemade egg salad and cookies for breakfast. The service at breakfast time is wonderful. The breakfast location is at the winter garden facing their garden. Just beautiful!

There‘s no elevator! But I came prepared with my backpack instead of a trolley :)

big rooms, very welcoming staff, excellent breakfast and lots of nice toys for the kids: this is a very good accommodation for families with small kids.

Comfortable room, excellent breakfast with home made apple puree and cakes. Plenty of sockets, window that opened and could see towels were air-dryed in the leafy garden. Near bus route. Friendly people, my train was delayed but not a problem

Lovely quiet room in an older building , beautifully redone into a hotel. Located on a small one-way street so hardly traffic noise. Very good bathroom good bed's. Clean , despite the hotel being sort staffed and room clean is 'on-demand' we have to dig into our memories whether we have come across a breakfast buffet this good and extensive in choice. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Hotel car-parking (outdoors) nearby for 6eur per day.

No-lift. other than that can't think of anyting bad actually.

The location -- on a quiet, lovely cobblestone street-- was convenient for the sites we wanted to see. The breakfasts were delicious and healthy. The staff was very helpful: carrying our luggage up the stairs, calling a taxi for us, providing a timetable for the trains, letting us enjoy a drink on the balcony. Our room had a lovely view of the back garden area.

There is no elevator and the room is a bit small.

2 star Hotel but 3 star prices for a barely accessible attic. An important lamp was missing and the bedside switch didn't work

The staff was amazing, sweet and attentive. The breakfast was very good and with a huge selection. The location is amazing and I love that everything was so colourful

Unfortunately we got a room right next to the staircase, which meant we experienced a lot of noise. The beds were uncomfortable because of a very hard madras, they tried to fix it but that didn't help.

A lovely personal, familiar atmosphere and service

Charming hotel in a good location, with a wonderful balcony overlooking the garden for breakfast. The hotel provided a wonderful map of the town with suggested walking routes which was invaluable

Sound insulation wasn't foolproof (one could sometimes hear the other guests). That didn't bother our sleep, though.

Although you are right in the middle of town it is really quiet. My room was spacious with lovely old wooden floors and very tall ceilings. The terrace for my morning breakfast was gorgeous. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet is large and varied with lovely home made Mediterranean dishes.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the place. I have already recommended it to friends and family.

This historic hotel is simply charming. It is located on a very picturesque cobble-stoned street and we took many photographs there. It is near the river and parkland so a lovely place for an evening stroll, but also close to attractions, and shops. Breakfast had excellent choices, and could be eaten outside on the deck overlooking garden, or inside. Parking is nearby (not under cover). Staff were lovely.

Excellent choice, great food, great service, brilliant location, great area, close to town centre, theater, and walking distance to train station, Staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient.

The location and the view. Staff very friendly. Very clean.

It is a bit tight at breakfast time, it tends to be very crowded at popular times. Missing hygiene walls in the breakfast buffet (Spuckschutz).
