We liked the room cleanliness and comfy bed. Staff were helpful and very kind.

I do understand the hotel is next to the mountains and maybe very few days with temperature above 28 or so. In addition the temp difference between day and night is significant. Here comes the BUT: but we expected a nice and comfy hotel like Weinbauer, adjust itself with the new reallity: We are having warm sommers in Germany. So a simple Fan / Ventilator would come in handy in addition to the wooden window shutters during this hot sommer days. Please Please Please 🙂

Lack air conditioning

The hotel is very nice. Room was clear and comfortable. Hotel staff was very kind and help full.

Good breakfast. Spectacular views and comfortable rooms.

the rooms were large and comfortable, there was good off road parking for our motorcycles. There was a considerable volume of food available at breakfast, although the choice was relatively modest compared to other hotels during this trip. The resident restaurant served good food and beer (although it is run independently of the hotel).

the hotel charges a flat rate per room for B&B irrespective of occupancy. One of our party found themselves in a 3 person room on their own and were charged the full occupancy rate. The hotel were not prepared to entertain the idea of discounting, even for the unused two breakfasts. This is contra to our experience in any other hotel, and I would not book a group in here again because of their attitude.

Lovely staff, great breakfast and good location for castles

Not so much the property which was absolutely fine, it was the odd atmosphere of the town which is all about the castles. Maybe Fussen a better option if you want more of an old town experience
