Everything was superb - from friendly staff, to great location, clean modern room with amazing lake view. Breakfast on the garden terrace was excellent. Enjoyed the beach club which was never too busy. Cannot fault La Palma!

Luxury building, nice views and lovely swimming pool at the lake

Breakfast. It doesn't match with the standards of the luxury building and hotel. There was no fresh orange juice, american pancakes were simply lying on a plate and cold, bacon was not available the two times I passed, 4 staff people were talking to each other (obiously not about work) and standing in the path, used cups and plates were not piked up during breakfast on the breakfast table. Breakfast was disappointing

Only one thing I’d recommend rather than dislike is tea/coffee facilities in the room.

After the initial disappointment of not getting a lake facing room, the rest was great. Fortunately we were there over a weekend so that the construction at the back of the hotel was not in operation. This may not be the most striking building in Stresa but it is a great, well located lake fronting property. Rooms are very pleasant and if price is not an issue then book a lake view room. Breakfast is very nice and wait staff are happy to bring fresh coffee and omelets to order. Open air parking is available and very convenient across the side street. The roof top bar is a striking feature with its relaxed views across Lake Maggiore. Drinks are priced on the high side but then you probably only live once.

Great Rooftop Lounge Bar with an Infinity pool. Excellent staff service, really intuitive and very nice. Specious rooms, reception staff so friendly and forthcoming. Would definitely recommend this lovely hotel.

Room was rather simplistic, could use more hangers in the bathroom and side rugs near the bed. There was no coffee kettle or coffee machine. We also found that breakfast could use some upgrade in terms of veriaty.

Lovely hotel with a magnificent view over Lago Maggiore. Close to the city center and ferry station. Spacious and clean room, huge balcony, good breakfast and convenient garage. Friendly and helpful staff. Everything was as it is seen on pictures.

Unfortunately due to the bad weather we didn't get to enjoy the sky bar, but we will next time.

everything was just how I hoped it would be and more,warm welcome,simple check in and out,lovely room with walk in shower,great balcony with full lake view room 319.Full buffet breakfast (hot and cold).Evening meal great value.Roof top area is amazing with great lounges,pool and chairs with amazing views.Sauna,steam room(warning be aware certain individuals did not wear any swimwear) made us very uncomfortable and we left.

Everything: The location of the hotel, the splendid view on the lake from our upgraded guestroom, the rooftop pool and bar. The carpark underneath the hotel or just beside it. The staff service :) The facilities, the cleanliness of the entire compound.. I highly recommend the hotel.

Nothing...

We got a room on the lake side. The view was fantastic, and the room was clean and very comfortable. The included breakfast was incredible. The rooftop bar and restaurant were also amazing, offering great food and drink as well as even more breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. The front desk was very helpful, and they let us store our luggage for the afternoon after we checked out. Great experience.
