After a long car drive we arrived at the hotel and immediately had a very warm and friendly welcome by the nice girl that made us the check-in and that even speaking few words in Portuguese made a point of greeting us in the language. This hotel would be perfect with a renovation and it needs it. The room and bathroom were extremely clean, spacious, with a small window in the bathroom and a big window facing the main street. The room does not have AC. The restaurant is an extremely clean, welcoming space, and we had a very nice dinner served by the nice girl that had welcomed us at the hotel (it is a pity that we didn’t get her name because she made all the difference on our opinion of the hotel and good staff like her should always be recognized for their work even more when multitasking). The private car parking is just outside and it is possible to charge an electric vehicle for a one time fee of 15€, it’s a safe and quiet place. Buffet breakfast was good. The location is perfect, making it a great base for exploring the area. Would return and recommend it!

motorcycle parking is just around the rear of the hotel. not secure. Drab room, no drinking or dining on Sunday night. Only saw one staff member who seemed a bit dis-interested.

Good location, easy on site parking. Lovely, helpful staff. Very good buffet breakfast at a reasonable price. Large room with good bathroom, bath and shower. We booked a superior double but got a triple.

No complaints about the hotel, staff or service but we thought it was a little expensive.

Noise from pipes (central heating they told us) woke us up several times in both rooms booked. Rooms run down and badly sound proofed.

The location was convenient; the checkin staff were very pleasant: the room was very clean, comfortable, and bright.
