The restaurant and bar staff are amazing 1st class !

Our room had the bathroom and glass see through door into the toilet we could hear people walking around loudly above us so if we return we’d ask for another suite we only had one small wardrobe no chest of drawers so not much space for clothes

Location! Absolutely the best. The room was quite nice and specious. The facilities are also upto the mark.

The only thing I would say could do with improvement (I have stayed in some of the top hotels in the World) is the carpet in the hallways and landings to the rooms could do with updating. I love the decor but the carpet just looks a little shabby.

Lovely historic hotel right in the heart of Windsor, just a few minutes' walk to Windsor Castle. Very attractive public areas and well-appointed rooms. Good restaurant too.

Room was slightly smaller than we’re used to but was only a standard double

Smoked bacon is a strange option. Bacon looked old and reheated. Very slow toast machine people queuing.

The shower pressure was too low which resulted in a cold shower. I was compensated for this. Quality brassware and ceramics are great but bathrooms need to function first and foremost. Food choice is limited and my Steak was very poor which I returned and only had one course. A free desert was offered but the Tart tatan was stale and the Baked Alaska was frozen solid and I could only Taste almond we gave up on both. Breakfast was average.

The location was perfect! We also loved the room, decor was beautiful and the welcome treats were delicious. The Castle view was great.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property the only suggestion we may make is a sofa bed may have been abit more comfortable for 4 in a room that the beds provided.

The room was tired, and the shower was lukewarm which is not ideal and annoying.

Front desk seemed disorganized and confused. My bill had to be corrected by me after we arrived home. It was corrected by the hotel but only after I had contacted them. They apologized and said they would give their staff more training.

When we got to the hotel we were told they had upgraded our room to a front street view with NO charge. Found all the staff very friendly. Room was great. Had a great stay. Could not find a fault. Perfect. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Staff went out of their way to help us celebrate our anniversary. Little complimentary touches made it even more special. Spotlless Room, Comfy Beds, Air Con and a wonderful breakfast. Will definitely stay again.

Good location

We had breakfast in our room which was terrible. It was late and then we waited even longer for our cutlery. The breakfast and the coffee was cold. There were items missing, and the rest was poor quality. Overall it was very disappointing. Another issue we had was being overcharged for drinks at the bar. For example we ordered a glass of champagne and a beer. We were told it cost £27. My partner paid but after thought it seemed a little pricey so asked for the receipt (which they never offered) and we could see the actual cost of the drinks was £22. They were clearly overcharging to take the rest as a tip, hoping no one would notice or ask for the receipt. We were both really shocked by such dishonest and sneaky behaviour. Overall a very disappointing stay and I would not recommend.

Large comfortable room with good breakfast.

Getting to the parking was difficult, and there were lots of stairs to navigate, even though the property has a lift.

Great location, easy parking and a pleasant enough room, although I booked a twin and was then told that none of the rooms with a view could be a twin so one of us would have to sleep on a sofa bed which wasn’t great. Clearly the base of the bed was two singles so surely it was a zip and link?

Great location, nice and cool with aircon and good breakfast selection.

The furniture, upholstery and carpeting have seen better days and needs to be cleaned and maintained more regularly. Our dressing table’s back rest was falling apart; and there were stains on the arm chair and carpet in the room. Other than that - a great location and a pleasant stay.
