Calm, feels like home
Dim Sum lacks vegetarian options. Lunch buffet is missing.

Pool area
Location, near the night bazaar, in a quiet zone
Is not a good thing to generalize (we came across super nice staff members, but a significant number of them was not.
We went 4 times to the pool, in two of them there was no towels, when they came, they didn't brought us one.
One of the times, they didn't pick up the dirty plates and glasses from the previous guests, nor brought us the menu.
Rooms outdated.
Room cleaning very poor.
Not what we expected from a Shangri-la at Thailand.
As someone said in a previous review, they are trading on the name and the number of stars.

helpful and polite staff, large "resort" similar to a Vegas style resort, great value, large rooms with comfortable beds, within walking distance to two (2) different food courts/street shopping. Highly recommend

The pool was a nice setting but a bit run down - was passable
I’ve stayed in 3 shangri la hotel in the past 12 months and they’re extremely run down, they’re no longer in the premier league of hotels and I wouldn’t recommend them for the price.
Plus they served me raw pork which I ate some of before noticing, as a guest that would make you feel ill plus it could actually make you serious ill. Their response was to offer me a free 20min taxi to the airport. I was disgusted
It’s a dam shame cause it was 20 years ago I stayed in my first shangri la and was in awe - not I’m just gutted I wasted my money.
I won’t be staying again - there’s better and modern 5* hotels in Chang Mai

Comfortable rooms, excellent staff, especially Nan in the bar.

Everything went well . The check in staff gave us a warm welcome, especially the Horizon club staff. Highly recommend the horizon club and will ask for it again for my next stay.

very spacious room. nice pool and jacuzzi. very nice dimsum place inside the hotel. the hotel is very big and clean
air con has been not working properly , has been extremely hot in the room, we had had to call the service but it did not improve much

the location is nice
we had a early flight to catch in the early morning and required breakfast boxes to be sent to our room at 4am, it was not there, so I called on 4:15am and I was told it’s on the way… we on 4:30 and it’s never delivered to our room … so we have to go 7-11 to grab something for kids to eat

Hood location for night bazaar
Staff seem tired and rude they do not enjoy their job. Health suite is dirty and steam room not always working. Jacuzzi beside the pool is kids play pool full of kids with milkshakes spilling everywhere and inflatables but staff do not stop this happening. Breakfast was cold and coffee poor, even worse in room where it’s just instant Nescafé.

All was good can't complain
I can not fault it was.great all the te are really friendly and work very hard to make your stay great we stayed 2 weeks and they upgraded all our 3 rooms thank you 😊

Great breakfast spread and staffs were attentive. Feel so welcomed here. Great water pressure in shower and drainage system was good too.. Water did not drain slowly while showering. Firm mattress and room was very spacious.
