Room was nice. Bed was comfy. It was nice & quiet.

Rooms have been recently renovated. Spotlessly clean, well done housekeeping team. Bed linen lovely, room on ground floor was huge . Considering it's on a main road and in a pub the rooms are quiet.
Breakfast wasn't brilliant value for money , croissants were very dry and hard and didn't like the coffee being premade in a pot .

Would have given it 10/10 exceptional except it was chilly (cold) in the room. I did ask a member of staff how to fix this & they said they'd look into it. However, nothing changed while I was there.
Apart from that, could not be faulted as a good place to stay.

lovely welcome and a large room with en-suite bathroom.
the room was spotless and the bed very comfortable, our dog was travelling with us and we were not charged extra which is a big thumbs up.
We were woken at 1am by lots of noise and blue flashing lights - this was not a fault of the hotel but there was no apology in the morning when we checked out and the constant noise of the door being slammed downstairs was rather unpleasant!

The kitchen closed at 7.30 on one evening when I got back from work at 7.20

I have stayed here for the second time whilst visiting family,I love how friendly the staff are the room was beautiful and very clean will be booking again very soon

I love the location and ambience of the hotel. The heating system in room wasn’t working and was moved to another room with no hassle. The lady at the reception was nice, friendly and welcoming. Will stay here again.
