Location.

Food was horrendous. Hot breakfast buffet was in the main cold. Bacon had clearly been cooked the night before. Sausages were not cooked. Beans were cold.

Brilliant deal for half board, food was delicious! Staff were super helpful dealing with any issues and helping us with high chairs etc at meal times. The location was perfect for visiting Windsor & Legoland. Bed was very comfortable. We would definitely consider staying again if we were in the area .

Our first room had a broken window handle meaning the window wouldn’t shut, staff were great in moving us to an alternative room as we had our 1 year old with us so couldn’t have a cold breeze running through the room. Second room had a bath rather than just a shower which worked better for us but the water was just about hot enough for our son (not hot enough for a nice long soak for adults) The windows in this room didn’t open at all which we assumed was because of them being sash windows opening onto a main road.

Nice room, very comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, very helpful and friendly staff.

The floor in our room could have done with a vacuum cleaner and we had to ask reception to bring is some shower gel.

Great location, we were visiting family who lived nearby. Breakfast was also good.

We had to ask 3 times for clean towels. We also rang reception 3 times one evening looking for the towels after asking for them that morning, there was no answer at reception. The bulb in the light on one side of the bed was also blown. Surely these things are checked before the room is assigned to guests

Breakfast was a complete disaster

The room was tidy and clean and the staff were pleasant enough. Breakfast was really good too. Coffee machine in restaurant was really good. River view was amazing.

The smell of damp as you walked up the stairs. The fact that there is no lift so had to carry suitcase up three lots of stairs to room and at 68 years old, was a little daunting. Limited menu in restaurant. Dim lights when you walked up or down the stairs to reception,

Bathroom had no shelves to put your toiletry bag on, had to put it on the floor. very sparse range of toiletries in the bathroom. Very sparse in the tea making tray....only two tea bags and two sachets of milk along with a couple of sachets of coffee. Wall paper peeling off the walls behind the head board.

Buffet breakfast would have been nice to have sausages. Always the same toaster was slow had to put toast through 4 times.

Unfortunately there was a maintenance problem so had to walk outside and around the back to get into the breakfast room not very well signposted

The location not only to Windsor, also to the centre of Maidenhead. Room was comfy, but had hot water issues.

Tried to have a bath , after a minute no hot water The bath took ages to empty, which suggests a blockage. Also shower ran cold after a few minutes

I loved the location. We couldn’t get the heating to work but a word to reception sorted that promptly. We did have some disrespectful neighbours at 3 and 4 in the morning but obviously no fault of the hotel. Would have liked warm plates for the cooked breakfast.

Location was excellent.

Someone (Guest) entered our room at 3.30am, so very concerned about room safety if giving wrong access or room cards operate other rooms, no response from management. Breakfast was not good, coffee machine kept breaking down, no sausage or bacon and eggs looked extremely bad..

Great location for Heathrow Airport, 30 minutes away. Clean & comfortable with a balcony overlooking the river Great price!.

On bookings.com it stated the breakfast was from 6.30 only to find when we arrived it was actually from 7.30 so we did not have time to have breakfast before our transfer to the airport. I was disappointed as we ended up paying an extortionate price for an airport breakfast.

Great view of the Thames river! Food in restaurant was good & the staff was nice. Hotel was fine.

At arrival in my room there were multiple black hairs in my shower, thankfully I immediately got assigned to another room. Furthermore, the WiFi connection in the guest rooms was quite bad. Mobile network also doesn’t work correctly while being in the room.

Can’t complain staff friendly very clean , we were allowed to drop our cases and park well before check in .

The setting

Needed a clean A bit run down Widows all had black mould Felt & smelt damp. Carpet stained & grubby. Hair & dirt specs on bed Was not impressed

For us it was all about location and value for money, the room was small but comfortable and had a very good price

No toiletries soap and shower gel would have been nice

Location was good and the breakfast was good

The windows were obscure glass, the lighting was poor and there was noisy air conditioning or other machinery units outside the window which were noisy all night. I would not have booked the room if I had known that I could not see out. Although the en-suite was refurbished the basin still leaked onto the floor. There are good rooms at this hotel but some rooms are very poor and should not be offered on the booking.com web site without a warning.

River views

A few spider webs in the room which weren’t cleaned, otherwise the room was ok. Breakfast could have more vegetarian options

After a disappointment on arrival, for the remainder of the stay the hotel staff were really helpful, and went out of their way to ensure me and my kids had a happy stay. Wonderful rooms at amazing value, particularly given the location close to Heathrow etc, and the room overlooking the river, breakfast on the river terrace etc.

On arrival, one of our two rooms had a problem - no lights!. We arrived very late at night, so understandably it wasn't dealt with until the next day. However, shouldn't they have checked the room before we arrived?

I stay in the Slough / Maidenhead area a lot when I come to visit family and I Can honestly say this is the best place I've stayed in so far! I got in touch after booking to request a ground floor room if possible, as my partner has COPD and can struggle with too many stairs. I received an email back to say they would try their best for us.... I wasn't holding my breath but was so pleased when we arrived. Not only was our room ready early (we were 30 minutes before check in) but we were also on the ground floor in the building behind the main hotel. The whole building smelt fresh and clean as soon as you walked in and the room was beautiful with a small "balcony" area that overlooked the river. The bathroom was modern and a good size. And the staff were friendly and helpful on both check in and check out. There was free parking right outside, also a bonus for my partner to avoid having to walk a long distance. And to top it off, it was so cheap too! We will definitely be back :)

It's very difficult to find any faults with this place! The only minor thing was the gents toilet just off reception is very, very small... And the doors open inward. I'm not a particularly large guy and I literally had to squeeze in their sideways 😂
