Swimming pool very comfortable; the location was super, very close to Sorrento city center; big terrace with view; Gulf and Vesuvio view from the room

The staff was not very prepared, except the guy from the bar who was lovely and helpful. The day we went there was no restaurant service (so no food at the swimming pool but only drinks) for some issue but the people at the reception did not inform us about the chance to order a delivery and when we discovered the restaurants were not delivering anymore. Also, the guy at the reception did not care at all of offering an alternative and help and he was very rude. The lift was out of order and we were at the 2nd floor.

I liked everything about this hotel. The position is very nice, with amazing views of Vesuvius Mountain and Napoli Bay. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and very helpfull.

The views amazing. close to the town centre only 15min walk with slight incline but doable. people with disability or low fitness level may need assistance.

- The included breakfast was only a continental and not guaranteed enough items available for all guests. - The advertised restaurant was indefinitely closed. - No coffee/tea facilities available in the rooms. - No microwave in the rooms.

Location was quiet but close enough to Sorrento to walk in easily.

one minor point - served instant coffee. when in Italy I expect real coffee! They do Italian coffee but you had to ask.

bedroom was a little small

Gorgeous view, set in lush gardens high on the hillside. The building itself is attractive and the hotel was pretty peaceful. It was easy to relax. Lovely pool, unheated and only for the brave in early April! Breakfast was good, but served indoors due to chilly Spring weather. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Bathroom and shower were on the small side. The setting is uphill, out of centre of town. I5 minute walk down, 20 mins up and a bit of a thigh trembler! But worth it for the fantastic views.

the steep hill to walk home after a night of food and drink! but that is made very clear from the hotel that this is a steep but short 10-15 min walk up the hill

I loved my 4 night stay at Hotel La Badia. For me the location was great. Having read the reviews and as a solo traveller I was a bit apprehensive about the walk down to Sorrento but it was super quick and easy, even managed it with my suitcase when leaving for the train station! Being around the pool was very relaxing. And there were so many different areas to be outside, I didnt get a chance to enjoy them all. The breakfast was excellent. The views of sunset were amazing. The staff were helpful and friendly and arranged a trip for me. There was a lovely gentleman Luigi who worked in the bar, seeing he was working always made me smile :) I would recommend this hotel to my friends (and tell them to order a Sorrento Sunrise cocktail from the bar 😋🍹)

This hotel really exceeded my expectations. I was expecting 3 star accomodation and got 5 star service, views and food. The rooms were slightly dated (as evident in the hotel pictures), yet very clean and comfortable. If the rooms were renovated to make them more modern, this would be a 5 star hotel easily. In terms of location, it is about a 10 minute walk to the centre of town with some steep inclines, however wasn’t too bad.

The pillows were too soft, however this is just a preference.

Lovely view with a beautiful pool. Staff friendly and very helpful.

Breakfast was a disappointment with very little choice. Hotel situated up a steep hill.

Amazing location. A bit out of the way but not too much. I will be returning in the future. I loved it that much! Good internet at 60 mbps!
