Room was a little tired

Room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel had a very nice ambiance and the staff was very courteous and professional, they assisted me throughout the evening as I was entertaining guests and they even asked me for business cards at the end of the night. The food was excellent and I was very well looked after.

Only continental breakfast available, I would have happily paid for a full breakfast as I stopped over for the night. Wifi signal poor but it's not down to the hotel, I spoke to a few locals and the area is not well connected so the hotel has no control over it. Having a later checkout would also help (at the moment it's 10am).

Booked at the last minute and was the cheapest I could find, half the price of nearby Premier Inn. Plenty of Free parking onsite. Downstairs area is nicely decorated.

Upstairs and bedroom decor is very poor. Damaged and bare walls in places, fusty wallpaper. Holes, cracks, dirty paint. Awful bed, could feel the metal springs digging in. Badly fitted windows, draughty and hear outside noise including a/c units just near the window. Damaged furniture, small TV. Thin douvet, didn't look all that clean. Warning note, telling me not to steal the single towel provided.

The location. New carpet and wallpaper.

I didn't expect a lot due to recent reviews but it was just somewhere for me and my 7 year old to get our heads down after a long day and ready for another long day! The shower head didn't fit in to holder, no teaspoon for tea/ coffee and the 2 small towels in room were frayed and discoloured, some sockets didnt work along with the lamp.. I kind of expected all of that and would have been OK with it (also stale smoke smell in room). What I couldn't deal with is the generation/fan right outside the bedroom window. It was so loud and went on all night!!! I had the worst night sleep I've ever had. Ruined the next day for us as my son was over tired as was I. I did complain but was told it should stop soon as no one else had complained before apparently, it got to 9.30pm and I complained again- no other room left apparently. Said she would offer me discount and free breakfast but due to being through booking.com couldn't offer me a thing! It has also made me realise consider using booking.com as the price is a lot more on booking.com rather than direct through hotel! Do not stay in number 29!

very easy to find on main road, free plentiful parking and pleasant welcoming reception.

Rooms are dated but clean, could have been a little warmer. No extra blankets or pillars.

Really dated rooms. Bed was like sleeping on bricks (room 3) mattress fully blown out. Cant control temp in room and could hear next room .

there was nothing nice with the hotel at all it was dirty the walls had holes in them and the room stank it smelt like somebody was smoking weed in the room and the shower at 8pm wasn’t hot at all it was just cold and then this morning at 6 am it was hot

The beds are bad with springs sticking out , the hotel smells damp and fusty , carpets filthy , housing homeless who are aloud to drink themselves into an oblivion in their rooms, old broken wardrobe and a rip off at £109 a night

Location was good and car parking

Room was ground floor with no blinds , mattress was poor on the double bed , no wardrobe or anywhere to hang your clothes.

Downstairs looks lovely

Very old fashioned furniture and beds were not comfy at all didn’t get a good sleep at all
