poor facilities, very basic accommodation, the hotel constantly had a smell of cooking fish . not a great breakfast and the room was tiny

We got our room upgraded for free to one of the outermost sea-view rooms, and it was spectacular. The onsite restaurant is fantastic and serves a great dinner as well as a great breakfast. We used this hotel as a base for driving around the southern parts of Norway.

Location of this hotel is amazing. I can imagine how great it should be during summer time. We stayed at the hotel, because of dinner at Under - and that was very convenient. We had a room with water view, which was amazing. Good variety for breakfast (except coffee could be improved)

We booked hotel room, but I realised later that apartments with two bedrooms are not a part of the hotel - as they are self-catering apartments. Therefore, it was a bit disappointing. Appartment are equipped well, but they are lacking hotel amenities - as it was no shampoo, conditioner in bathroom, no coffee - in the kitchen. If you would rent it as an apartment - it was gret, but as the hotel standard it did not meet our expectations. When we arrived in the evening - the room was extremely cold, radiators set on 5 degrees, so apartment was freezing. Quite bad ventilation in the room. The main bedroom very small - bed almost fits in. SPA was not working and we did not get information in advance.

So clean. easy access to parking. Beautifully detailed and designed internally. Great reception and restaurant for breakfast.

There was a bit of noise outside at night. Nothing to complain about really.

Nice view, clean room, dinner was very good.

The room was super warm. The boiler is placed in a cabinet next to the bed, so in summer the bedroom will never be cool. There was a ferry that moored at around 1am which kept us up.

- the room was rather small - we changed rooms as the first room was not properly cleaned

Fantastic restaurant with great service Great variety of water and land items to rent, we took the double kayak and also noticed plenty of fishing nets and crabbing buckets for kids. Good views!

Value for money but as to be expected Norway is expensive!

stunning location and the hotel has a very good restaurant and bar. The staff were all super friendly and went out of their way!
