Charlie and Julie were very welcoming.Rooms and Charlie's breakfast excellent, when Charlie heard it was my birthday he gave us a upgrade.So a big thumbs up to Julie and Charlie.

Everything,!!! Found it easily and parked directly in front of it in their parking spaces. Left the car there for the duration of stay as could do everything on foot. Brilliant 1st impressions when greeted by Chalie and helped with bags ans cases. Room and bathroom spotless! Allocated table for breakfast made mornings easy and Charlie and Julie-ann went the extra mile with esuring we and especially me, i had a regular start to the day! The offer of a range of diifferent breakfast options and some being novel, impressed us and the food was excellent. Five day stay and did not eat the same thing twice. The whole place was spotless and quiet. Charlie and Julie-Ann wete brilliant, helpful and friendly, making us very welcome. Located in walking dustance of main areas and bus and train links. Nothing was too much bother.A genuine, fond farewell to a brilliant stay!

Breakfast is exceptionally high quality produce and cooked very well by Charlie. Service with a smile. They are so genuine, warm and friendly.. Great location too. I would certainly recommend this place to my family.. Easy parking in front.

Extremely comfy bed and pillows. The room was spacious with somewhere other than the bed to sit which we really like. The choice at breakfast was amazing and everything was first class.
Great position for walking down to the beach or back from a night in the town. Very accessible for other Torbay resorts.
Our hosts are very friendly and nothing is to much trouble. We feel we have two new friends
The heated towel rail/radiator doesn't work in the bathroom but we haven't pointed it out so might be us. No lift, but we managed. Parking could be a problem if they were full and you have a big car?
The railway is just at the back and found it a little noisy if we left the window open at night but there is air con here so possibly if that was on you might not hear the trains.

we book the double room. the double bed is just too small for us. next time we will book a king room.

On arrival, everything was explained when we got there, very welcoming. The room was super clean and well decorated, great shower pressure, lots of tea etc in room. Charlie and Julie-Anne went above and beyond with for us as it was Valentine’s Day, providing a rose. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection. Excellent hosts, really friendly and very professional place to stay. Definitely recommend

Super clean and comfortable, parking at the front of the property, short distance from the town centre and shops.
Those running the Guest House are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Nothing is too difficult for them. Breakfast was excellent.

The level of service and accommodation exceeded our expectations, with very welcoming and friendly hosts in Charlie and Julies-Anne. Breakfast must not be missed - just great. The property is located within easy walking distance of the seafront and marina, and the main centre of Torquay.
This was our first stay at the Briarfields, and we were not disappointed, and have no hesitation in recommending it the next time you are visiting and staying in Torquay.
No complaints at all.

Breakfast was fantastic cooked how you wanted it to be, accomodated us with being gluten free, items cooked sepaeratly, tea, coffee, as much as you wanted, nothing too much trouble.

The Choice on the Breakfast menu was outstanding Charlie and Julie Ann could not have been more helpful with info for guests and friendliness always had time for everyone Charlie even gave me a lift to the station upon my departure as well as helping me with luggage 1st class stay I was here for 13 nights and would not hesitate to return if in the area

Loved everything about our stay. The room was spacious and beautifully clean with a great shower and the added bonus of air conditioning which during the hot spell was an absolute god send.
The hosts were amazing absolutely nothing was too much trouble for them from amazing and varied breakfast options right down to little things like helping us with our vast arsenal of luggage. Due to the rail strike we had to leave a day early and Charlie even gave us a lift to the railway station which was such an amazing gesture that we both appreciated so much.
There are a few nice shops and restaurants nearby and is only a 15 minute walk to the centre of Torquay.

Everything. The most lovely couple.. couldn't do enough for us!
Honestly. It was all brilliant. If i am nit picking, we are not exactly morning people and breakfast only ran till 9:15am. But as I say... its hard work to actually come up with anything that isn't brilliant about this place.

We arrived early and had a very warm welcome from Julie Ann. Our room was ready so able to check in. We had Suite 7, very spacious and comfortable, had everything we needed. Very clean and spotless. Breakfast was superb, catering for everyone's needs . It was an early birthday surprise leading up for my partners 65th Birthday. He was very pleased. Location was excellent, only a 10 minute walk to the seafront , bars and restaurants. Will definitely return. Thank you Julie Ann and Charlie. 😀

Absolutely nothing. Should be a blueprint for similar businesses. Was not aware there were other guests until breakfast. Which compared to others was a tremendous bonus. ( I could have just been lucky or the rooms have excellent sound proofing qualities.
