The hotel is pitoresque, classic architecture. And staff is very good, nice.

Staff could speak a little more English in my opinion. Not comfortable beds, at least for me, bathroom for disabled or elderly people, and breakfast, I dont know, was simple but lacked something.

Staff was very nice, average breakfast, nice rooms, clean. Hotel is placed in the middle of the "city", good location, free parking. Some restaurants and bar around. I had my dog with me (pitbull) and it was not problem for anybody at all - I appreciate it!

Right next to the hotel is music bar and a noise can be heard in the night.

The hotel has potential to be very charming, stylish, historical place. It is all ruined by the cheesy decorations and add-ons like flower pots on the stairs or a dinner plate covering the big vase so it doesn't get dusty. It has 4 stars but I'd say its more like 2,5 standard. SPA is very poor and cheap, don't recommend at all. Food served in the restaurant is nothing special (for example orange juice for breakfast isn't a real juice). Soups totally tasteless. Sitting by the main table you can see woman doing dishes and the kitchen backstage through constantly open doors and nobody cares. Waiter, older man who seems to be very experienced at his job, is dressed like he slept wearing his clothes, just woke up and went to work :) I guess its Czech Republic's charm. The mini bar in the room is a fridge that doesn't work. The dressing room for skiers is a very tiny room with tiny lockers, no bench for changing shoes. I guess the hotel wasn't originally meant to be the place for skiers.

Location was very good. Right in the city center and Close to bus stop to ski lifts. Plenty of restaurants around and staff at reception and restaurant were very pleasant.

For the price I paid, over 150 pounds a night, breakfast could have been a bit more elaborate. Very simple breakfast served. The beds in the room were HORRIBLE. The king bed was very low close to the ground, around 1 hand palm away from the floor, very unconfortable to get on. The mattresses were also very hard and unconfortable and the bed itself was broken, I had to keep fixing it in the middle of the night. When I asked for a replacement or even an extra mattress to put on top they said there was none available. The auxiliary bed that my daughter used was also very low and hard. We wanted to get good nights of sleep after a long day of activities and that simply didn't happen. They advertise an indoor heated swimming pool in the basement. We booked once, and when we tried to book for the next day I was told that there would be a surcharge of about 20 pounds to use the pool for 1 hour, which I found absurd and cancelled the booking of the pool. When we went there the first time we found tufts of hair floating in the pool, so pay extra for something like this is simply out of the question.

The staff was super nice to us. The room was super clean. They love dogs! I was able to park my car in front of the hotel.

Close to the main hike trail to Snezka, friendly staff serving us breakfast, fresh pastry/bread for breakfast. Nice pubs/restaurants around.

The hotel was a bit dated, the TV wasnt working in any room, hairdryer was probably 50 years old - no chance I could dry my hair with it, the cleanliness wasn’t up to my standards - someone’s hair in my bed and on the floor, the bath and sink could do with more cleaning. I ordered poached egg, got scrambled egg. Not enough choice of hot foods for breakfast like pancakes for example.

Facilities are definitely not 4* standard, it is fair conside the price, but do not expect much. Furniture, carpet and overall impression is pretty worn out. But place is clean so its an ok place to stay

The people who run this hotel are superfriendly and really make it their wish to enjoy your stay! Breakfast is really diverse and everything is freshly made in the morning.

Most important breakfast was really disappointing. In an area which has such good food all around breakfast served in the hotel was below the average. As well the cleanliness of the room leaves much to be improved. SPA was closed because of technical issues. You can't get with a lift to the lowest floor (night entrance). And they didn't even have ice at the bar.

I traveled a lot,booking com takes care about all my stays,always ok.This time was different,this hotel doesn’t deserve 4 stars,room was old,see the picture with my 4 stars shower for example.They don’t make beds ,no whirlpool open,i told them my fridge didn’t work,answer was,maybe we will replace or repair it,but it’s not sure,....in fact,nothing to look forward to.Never go back there,sure will not make commercial with this hotel.

The staff are friendly and they really tried to accommodate most of our requests.

Despite claiming that they accept card payments, you can only pay cash in this property. I understand that cash is king in this time of crisis, but they shouldn’t claim that they accept card payments if they don’t. The hotel has a lot of potential, but it has seen better days. It is in a great location, which is why it’s such a shame that it can’t live up to its four-star claim. They need to do some cosmetic changes in order for it to live up to its claims. The wellness and pool was out of order, and the fridge in our room was quite dusty and dirty. Furthermore, after uncovering the sheets it revealed a very messy bed which made me wonder if the sheets were really washed. This hotel badly needs good management and a general makeover.
