What a joy to return to this jewel of a country hotel after 2 years of travel restrictions. Super staff. Beautiful National Park surroundings. Wonderful outdoor swimming pool with space to relax in the sun. Delicious breakfast and bar open all day for refreshments.

Sadly the restaurant was closed.

It was secluded with a great country setting. Very quiet. Breakfast was good. Room was beautiful...lots of original art.

Swimming pool is out of commission and landscape needs help. Hit hard by Covid.

The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed and easy going and the location and setting beautiful. Staff chilled and helpful!

Nothing not to like about this place

Breakfast, surroundings, history, picturesque building, it was very quiet

The shower was very poor quality, came out like a fine mist and soaked everything

Location, fantastic building, good restaurant and excellent price.

The sitting/bar area chairs were not comfortable to sit and read and enjoy a drink. The room was a bit chilly.

Breakfast was excellent. I was so surprised that they offered 2 coffees if you want, for free. They also serve fresh orange juice. X2 toasts per head but if you want more you can get more. You have also a buffet with continental chocies.

I understand that those who own it have been working it for years and they have had bad and good experiences as these comes with years. I think the place deserves more recognition from authorities ( Government, media) and more love from the visitors. To the owner: you have a treasure! carry on sending love to it!
