I arrived very late and staff accommodated this

It took me a while to find car park. Staff could send Google pin of location to find using sat nav

I really like the cute girl at the reception. She is very nice .Rooms are great and shower as well.

Breakfast can be improved

quirky but enjoyable. very low ceilings in some bedrooms made me laugh. lovely bar area

could do with some TLC. access to the car park is a challenge. the road markings are all wrong.

The check in

The fire alarm suddenly sounded and it was so nervous. No one from the staff informed us about it.

The location was very central but the car park was almost impossible to find.

The rooms were very tired and built around a pub which was very noisy. Food had run out at breakfast , only one egg , no brown bread, no sausages! I have never stayed anywhere where the food ran out for breakfast.

Had a meal which was awful, the fish was soggy, the chicken burnt, so had a refund. Also had a group of people swearing and using racist and offensive language that none of the staff addressed. Not what i would like my 17yr old to be sat there listening to. Could not get to sleep until gone 1am as loud music in the bar downstairs, which should have stopped by 11. No hot water in the morning as someone had turned it off. Decided not to have breakfast or stay the second night so also received a refund. On returning home, and checking my bank, a sum of money had been taken from my card that i did not spend. Trying to get this back is proving difficult. Would not recommend staying here at all

Didn't have breakfast..

The fan provided didn't work. There was a lot of noise through the night. Obviously not the hotels fault but still made for a broken nights sleep.

The room was comfortable and the ensuite facilities were clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and provided an evening meal which wasn't on the menu. A cooked breakfast was excellent. The Hotel was very historic and full of character. It was near the shops and the route of my walk.

My room faced the street which was a bit noisy at night. I couldn't completely close the window but slept well anyway.
