the friendly hotel staff will remain in my memories. very nice location and hotel
obviously the mosquitoes. hi hey took care of them but unfortunately they needed to be smoked every day otherwise the outside facilities weren’t usable at the villa

the view and the fact that you have your own pool
you can’t be outside because you get bitten by the excess of mosquitoes, this is really bad. Also for a 5 star I have a special diet without salt and they sent the food with salt.

Beautiful views, wonderful staff, delicious food and drinks and all for an excellent price!! Will be back again next year.
To be honest it was great all together, any issues were simply out of the resorts control and they worked hard to make things as perfect as possibly.

We love the banyan tree brand and have spent oodles of time in Thailand and long to return, we would however not return to their Acapulco offering. The Villa was very tired, stained and worn, the aircon didn’t work, the roof leaked onto the bathroom floor, the pool was missing loads of tiles and the Thai food at the Saffron restaurant was awful (overly sweet, imbalanced and lacking ANY acid at all). All in all we decided to check out early and head back to CDMX. The value of everything was an extra kick in the teeth, happy to pay top dollar for excellence: this was not that and it was a real shame.

the pool heater wasn’t working so the pool was really cold

the privacy, location and the attentiveness of the staff. it was perfect. the windows overlooking the bay from the villa from the bedroom to the Bathroom was outstanding
even tho I loved the privacy away from other guests, getting a golf buggy to and from the villa was a bit cumbersome. but that’s a small niggle!

The ocean view was good.
This place is not worth the money! By any stretch of the imagination. Both my partner and i are covered in bug bites from under the blanket. The food was mediocre - especially for such an exorbitant price.
