Quiet peaceful

we had problems paying for the reservation and they charged it twice to think that I had shown and sent a screenshot of this payment to the hotel administration, the woman Robin was not a friendly woman and responded late even informing her that a payment had been sent to her email to confirm payment. I did not feel that she wanted to help she felt that she distrusted us because we were foreigners

The hosts were welcoming on our arrival and helped to ensure we settled in. They planned their maintenance on the property around when we wanted to use the facilities (spa and sauna) to ensure we weren't interupted. Breakfast was a good size and included in the price. It was a great place to base ourselves for the Hobbiton and the Waitomo caves.

The spa pool made a winter day especially relaxing.

The breakfast and way presented was excellent, a self help system the was really appreciated.

More sunshine

We stayed in the smallest unit as it was just for an overnight stop, wished we had stayed longer. Spa, sauna, swimming pool or just to enjoy the beautiful garden and views. Comfy bed, cozy and warm and our hosts were amazing. Already planning a return trip

Perfectly adequate

Great accommodation which was very clean and roomy. Comfy bedding. Had a great breakfast that we could take away. Shame the welcome was not very friendly. But otherwise very nice.

Nothin, very happy

We arrived on the hottest day of the year after a day travelling by car. We were immediately met by our hostess who gave us a wonderful welcome and was very accomodating. She showed us all the amenities and answered all our questions re where to go and how to get there. The room was charming and the lovely shower and insect screen enabled us to cool off and sleep well. Great selection of breakfast food, lovely toiletries provided and very pleasant surroundings.

There was nothing that we did not like

very attractive, quiet, top class furnishings and facilities, with lovely swimming pool. Also had hot tub and sauna, which we didn’t use.

Beautiful location, friendly host without being smothering. excellent pool. plenty of local information re restaurants, services.

Ideal little unit, very well equipped. Particularly appreciated arriving back after a wedding reception to find the heater on and our hastily-left goods all organised. Highly recommended!

Continental breakfast was good,

Not being able to have a late checkout , for the money you pay and the location , the last thing you want to have to do is get up early to be strictly out by 10am.

Quiet location, comfortable room and ample parking.
