Perfect location to explore Langres. Excellent host who gave us advice about the local restaurants and walks in the area

A mirror above the dressing table would be a helpful addition but otherwise a lovely place to stay

Langres is an amazing town, the ramparts at night are remarkable especially when watching a distant lightning storm. And why not spent s night is a location on the ramparts. Diderot had something to say about it no doubt.

Great location in the centre of Langres and a very hospitable host!

Warm welcome, central location within short walk of restaurants, lovely views from property, parking space, comfortable bed in a spacious light room with views. Lovely served breakfast.

Garden needed tending which is overlooked from pool deck.

Our host, Eglise, was so welcoming and so helpful. She helped with parking in & out, nothing was too much trouble and made us feel completely at ease. Breakfast fruit, yoghurt, croissant, bread, ham, cheese all delicious and fresh. A stunning location, we will have to come back! One night was not enough.Thankyou.

Good location very close to ramparts, town centre and tourist office. Spacious room with comfortable bed and view over countryside. Parking available on site (suitable for smaller cars) and free car parks nearby where usually possible to find a space.

Breakfast was really lovely and very nicely served. We sat outside and the view was beautiful.

Position, views.

A bit like fawlty towers. Rooms are definetly not soundproof you could hear anyone moving around on the stairs or corridor, and very basic, nothing like a luxury B&B. Rear garden is overgrown not like the photo on your site. Breakfast was a bit ad hoc, had to wait for milk and yoghurt, but was OK.

Wonderful personable host with a very nice sense of humour. Made us feel really at home. Spacious accommodation, good restaurants nearby.

Excellent breakfast included in price- fresh fruit salad, freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs and all the usual breads etc. Family home, very relaxed and welcoming in a great position.

Extraordinary location directly at the rempart with an amazing view into the country (from the room Le Royal). Large clean room with a comfortable bed.

Costs slightly on the high side. And if you are in a B&B in France am you are offered Cheadle for breakfast, you would have expected some French delicacies (especially because Langres is famous for its cheese) and not two thin slices of some white cheese. But this the heaviest complaint we would have :) - and it did not affect our high esteem for this beautiful B&B.

A good option for a one night stay on route through France. This property appeared to us to be set up just for this kind of trade and makes no apology for it. Access times are set and rules made clear for example. Breakfast punctual and good. A couple of nice restaurants for the evening were suggested by our host and they didn't disappoint.

What I have written above could be seen as critical, but it isn't. This property, in it promotion and presentation is set up for just what we wanted, a good one night stop on route back to the UK

Not as authentic as expected.

We were made welcome by the hosts. The place is interesting and quirky. Our bedroom was spacious, comfortable and the bed was very perfect. Tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was very good…fresh and well presented. A very good location, minutes walk from the High Street. We had a good supper in The Europa Hotel.

We loved the location of Le Belvedere! Right on the ramparts in the old town, in a quiet spot but very near lovely cafes, restaurants and shops. We liked the history of the building too. The owner was very charming and helpful and she produced a lovely breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend this place.
