spacious , clean , not luxury but has everything you need . Lovely touches like robes , slippers , tea and coffee . wood fired hot tub and sauna that the staff were excellent at attending too . can’t fault the cottage at all !

A wonderful historic building in a quiet countryside just off the A1 with comfortable room, great good and lovely staff.

Very good food and nice choice of wines at sensible prices

Staff were super friendly and efficient and dinner and breakfast were both very delicious.

Room was very hot due to being above the kitchen and the warm weather but a fan was in the room and it did help.

Lovely location, we were on a group trip to Nottingham for Warhammer world during the weekend and this was one of the cheaper stay options during the time, while we had to travel out of Nottingham to reach it this definitely turned out to be well worth it as the Inn had lovely staff who were very helpful, the breakfast met the high expectations advertised and the rooms were clean and far from lacking as well. The evening bar staff member's friendly and down to earth personality really made me value my stay and should we need to make this trip again which I'm sure we will, I will definitely be looking at booking another stay.

There wasn't really anything to note, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will hopefully be back again.

The staff was so great! They voluntarily sent a message to suggest a place in their restaurant, to ensure we have a place. When we messaged to say we are stuck with a flat tyre they were so extremely kind and took our order via email and the food was waiting for us upon arrival... Super recommended, very nice team, location and overall place!

The food was delicious. The staff were really friendly. My partner and I loved the birthday banners and balloons and the Staunton Arms was in an ideal location as we only had to travel 10-15 minutes from Eden Hall Spa.
