Room was large

Not clean, flusher was not working and no hot water. No English channels

Beach was lovely, good beach service - they organise sun beds with umbrellas, bring you towels, can bring some drinks. Stuff was mostly friendly.

Hotel is veeeeery old and tired. Pity, the property used to be very beautiful, but not well-maintained anymore. Maybe they just start recovering after covid lockdowns? On the first day we tried to switch on a lamp, but got the sparkles from electricity chain, also one electric socket near the bed was not working. We addressed this to receptionist, but got only “yes-yes” as an answer. Nobody came to fix this. From 2 sinks only one was working.

The location is great, and the rooms are spatious.

1. Often hot water was cold. One day there were no hot water at all (I mean, the pipe was empty). 2. Noisy. There's a railroad 50 meters from the hotel, so... 3. No facilities for the disabled (I had my leg broken and had to crawl upstairs for breakfast every morning). 4. The light in the rooms is just a nuance. very dim. 5. There was no safe in our room.

The beach was nice and the staff was lovely. Overall it's ok, good enough for money paid

Rooms are cozy but a bit old. Some of the plugs didn't work, the wi-fi signal wasn't good in a room.

Wi just didn’t work in public areas or in the rooms very frustrating as it said Wi-Fi available in public areas not so - only available on reception I needed to work at night due to time differences so was told it would work in my room but it didn’t do a nightmare!!! I booked and paid for a suite but was given a room only. checked out after 1 night but no refund given. tried to eat in the restaurant but was ignored for 40 minutes so I left and went to hotel next door to eat great service great meal

Excellent location. Excellent white sand beach behind the hotel. Very friendly staff. Good and tasty seafood.

Need little more attention to some maintenance. Probably due to pandemic situation they may have been overlooked.

Wunderbar We were there 5 days and it was really great In restaurant you can order very delicious food The staffs very nice and helpful Location is the best beach front Also we rent bicycles that was really amazing you can go Pizza Hut and KFC by riding the receptions and Mr Shan in the restaurant , and peradeep was friendly. we miss you

Nothing good about this property.

Not clean at all. Rooms are not maintained and cleaned. Towels are dirty. Restaurant utensil are not cleaned.

Fantastic location and beach access. It's a calm resort with pristine location. Don't read much into the railway track around the property. Its not at all bad as some people mention it in comments.

lack of maintenance and hygiene. poor menu choices at breakfast and dinner. only instant (Nescafé) available in the morning.

The peaceful beach and colonial style of the hotel. Not so many choices of the food during the breakfast. Very delicious (good prices) dinner served in the hotel restaurant. Nice view from the restaurant. Beware mosqitos in the open spaces.

Short walk to lovely beach. Spacious room and nice pool area.

ONLY THE LOCATION

TOILETS POTS WERE DIRTY.... BLACK FROM INSIDE... YUK! VERY WEAK WIFI. TEA KETTLE LEAKING. NO INTERNAL TELEPHONE. ONLY TWO SMALL WATER BOTTLES PER ROOM PER DAY. NO DOOR BELL. NO FACILITY TO LOCK THE ROOM FROM INSIDE. UNWASHED TOWELS. PATHETIC UPKEEP OF TOILETS. NO HOT WATER IN THE SHOWER ON ARRIVAL. THE MANAGER SAID'SUCH SLIP UPS" OCCUR IN YOUR HOME TOO'!! IT SEEMS NO ONE HAD CHECKED THE ROOMS BEFORE ALLOTMENT.

There is no turtle hatchery, and a freight train runs through the middle of the property every 30 minutes. Not safe for kids. The whole property had not been physically updated in many years, and perhaps not worth $140 a night.
