Clean hotel, allocated an end room when busy with wedding which was appreciated. quick check in. food was nice.

service was slow. slow to have orders taken, slow between courses. we booked breakfast for 8:30 and the buffet wasn’t ready. there were various members of staff walking past us including cleaners which wasn’t the nicest atmosphere. the TV in our room didn’t turn off. we had to pull the chord out.

Good location with parking. Comfortable and warm hotel with friendly staff. Lovely big bath towels in bathroom.

Only one spare socket to charge phone/laptop in double room.

Good aesthetic externally

Rooms too hot, food wasn't great(chips undercooked and almost raw) they had a 30th and a wedding on so understandably rushed. No sockets anywhere near the bed, opposite side of the room to plug your phone in. Room was too hot and no thermostat. Hot water took an age to come on and had to run the shower for the sink to kick in. Walls and door very thin and can hear all the other guest noise.

The Torrance is the cleanest hotel I have had the pleasure of staying in, the breakfast was amazing and just a short walk to local restaurants, the hotel staff were all really polite and could not do anything more for you, This hotel is first on my list when I visit relatives again

waiting times for food were extremely long and the breakfast was the worst Iv ever had in any hotel I have ever stayed in, staff never once asked if our food was ok, terrible service. very noisy all the way through the night. room was nice but the bed was uncomfortable.

Hotel was modern and very clean. Our room was lovely and spacious. The restaurant food was delicious and a really good choice of menu!

At breakfast, a waiter seemed like he was the only one working, he came across stressed and could of done with some help. We didn’t bother asking for toast as 3 other couples had asked him and he seemed very rushed off his feet! I think it was a bit unfair he was the only one at breakfast with lots of guests!

The room decor was nice, bit small but otherwise lovely. The reception staff were lovely, as were most of the serving staff/bar staff at the wedding. The decor in the reception hall was lovely

Bar prices were expensive, despite assurances wedding cake wouldn't be moved when it was dropped off, on arrival for reception it was at the other side of the room and damaged at the back - no member of staff approached anyone about this and it appeared it was going unmentioned until i asked what had happened to it, staff claimed it was like that when they moved it... very unlikely ! The soup tasted like instant powdered soup was really disappointing. Despite booking a time for breakfast, when we got there, everything was dry and hard as though it had been sitting out for ages, not the standard I expected. There wasn't a lot of items left and it felt like we were just getting the leftover scraps, again disappointing.

We were made to feel welcome from the moment we walked through in the door until we walked back out the door. The service was great and the waiting times from ordering food and drinks was very quick the staff were very friendly and polite always checking to see if everything was OK and to see if we needed anything else. I would recommend your hotel to anyone who is looking for a hotel break and yes I would return to the hotel for another stay

The only thing that was wrong was in the description and pictures used for the room wasn't the same as the actual room that we received from the description and pictures the spa bath was not as pictured but was in the bathroom and there wasn't much room to move round it to check the temperature of the water. But don't get me wrong we found away to get down to the tap side to put the plug in and check the temperature of the water. But we still used the spa bath and we did enjoy the use of it.and we had a great stay with you and yes I would recommend you for any one looking for a hotel break
