Beautiful tranquil location-Guillermo super helpful. We loved the walking, Virgin of Carbeza monument, Los Pinos restaurant (great coffee and Magdalena), Encinjaro reservoir - spotted Lynx and very friendly deer 😊. It was v hot when we were there but Aircon in bedroom worked and so glad we made the booking despite temp. Just adjusted and got up early for treks etc. Highly recommend

Aircon in lounge not so good

Fantastic location near the edge of the huge National Park. Guillaume the host was exceptionally helpful and communicative - gave us a contact for a guided 'safari', allowed us to visit his private finca where there are lynx, kept restaurant open after normal hours so we could eat after the trip, gave us a map and explained points of interest and walks. A joy to talk with someone so full of local knowledge and enthusiasm. Cosy bungalow yet roomy, didn't need the heating at night. Well equipped for the most part, including modern hob and small freezing compartment (not mentioned on the facilities list). Very quiet and tranquil. Good internet. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Reception/restaurant only open at lunchtime and evening, needed to plan as advance notice required for meals - maybe due to low season? Similarly Guillaume only on site intermittently but probably contactable via WhatsApp. Would have been nice to have some basic cleaning (empty bins and toilet waste) during our 4-night stay. Bed rather more soft and bouncy than we are used to.

Guillermo was extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks to him we saw a Lynx. The bungalow was super comfortable and everything we needed. It was incredibly cold outside but we were very comfortable.

Nothing. I would definitely stay there again

Extremely nice and caring owner, who knows incredibly much about the wildlife and happily shares it. Also engages in wildlife projects. The houses are excellently equipped with many small gifts like water, milk, cakes, ... Highly recommend a stay there!

Frankly everything was perfect!

Perfect location for bird- and lynx watching. Very comfortabel cottage. Extremely nice host who knows all about the environment.

Lovely tranquil country retreat. Comfortable cabin surrounded by nature. Great fresh " home style" cooking and friendly service . The owners coukd not do enough.... tokd us the great places to see local wildlife and made us feel very at home. If a quiet country break in beautiful surroundings is what you want ... book this place. We will be back.

very minor points : breakfast that is supplied is very simple, just little cakes and flavoured milk ; shower cubicle not very big; bed is quite small; kitchen corner very cramped but adequate; wifi signal weak and fluctuates
