Perfect location. Very welcoming.

Room was dated and in need of decoration. It was not clean. The toilet didn’t flush properly and a medical sharp was left in the bathroom. The incident was reported to the staff and they said they would make a note of it but they didn’t seem to care or apologise.

Excellent breakfast, really well cooked. Good choice of cereals and good coffee. The bed had an Emma mattress and was so comfortable.

The "restaurant" is an area off the bar and rather basic and functional

the pub atmosphere was great with friendly patrons and staff. Food was terrific and very well presented. Room a good size with heaps of goodies including a coffee machine and hot chocolate. Location and parking were excellent.

No complaints at all.

Nice clean comfortable room with some nice facilities eg fridge, coffee maker, safe etc.

Only thing I can think of is shower cubicle too small.

A location was great for city centre and parking a bonus. The staff were really friendly and hard working (Michelle was there for breakfast and pulling pints late into the evening, always with a smile on her face). Breakfast was excellent.

Great value accommodation. Good size room, with some additional benefits like a coffee machine and small fridge.

Only down side was the location. It’s up a very steep hill (especially on the Riverside Road side)! I found walking up via Clarence Road and Thorpe Road was by far the easiest way to get there.
