Fantastisk frukost med utsökta bakverk och utsökta omeletter och gott kaffe Ägarna/ personalen är oerhört tillmötesgående Utsikten är bedårande och närheten till Volterra en fördel Det finns ingen matservering på kvällen men man får dricka medhavt vin på terassen och det finns ett COOP väldigt nära där man köpa lite läckerheter till vinet. -- Colazione fantastica con pasticcini deliziosi e deliziose frittate e un buon caffè I proprietari e il personale sono estremamente accomodanti La vista è adorabile e la vicinanza a Volterra un vantaggio Non c'è servizio di ristorazione la sera, ma puoi bere il tuo vino sulla terrazza e c'è una COOP molto vicino dove puoi acquistare alcune prelibatezze per accompagnare il vino.

The breakfast was AMAZING!! The owners make it fresh every morning it's honestly amazing. The choices were endless with some amazing local ingredients and dishes that we wouldn't have got to try without this breakfast. His wife goes above and beyond honestly even if you just booked this to experience the breaky you won't be disappointed. The location is a little bit out of the town, we could have walked but it's abit up hill and we had a hire car so we just drove and the host told us where we can go for parking which was very handy. Upon arrival we were given SO much information from the host, we wish we had of stayed here at the beginning of our time in Tuscany because he gave us sooo much information that would have been handy earlier in our trip. The pool was nice and the rooms are basic but alll you need which includes a mini fridge. The host also provided food recommendations and there's an entire lobby of brochures, cards, maps and information at the reception so you won't be short of things to do or see. There was free parking on the property and after maybe 10pm or it could have been 11pm they close the gates to the property so it's super secure however you are given access to get back in when you like so you won't be locked out. We would definitely stay here again.

Nothing it was great

We had a wonderful time staying at this family run hotel. The hotel is situated about a twenty minute walk below volterra, meaning it is very peaceful with a lovely outlook over hills of Tuscany. The rooms are a good size and well soundproofed. Parking is plentiful and spacious. Finally the breakfast is amazing, the choices were up there with many top end hotels we have stayed in. The home made cakes, required much willpower not to over indulge. We hope to be able to come back some day.

It’s very central yet a tad offsides the many action. We recommend the Hotel for Toskana beginners that can’t yet decide what kind of hotel (vineyard, b&b or pension-style) suits them best! The hotel was all of the above combined and felt very cosy and home-ly!

Beautiful property, excellent hospitality, lovely breakfast.

Our group liked everything about Villa Rioddi! The proprietor, Luca, was gracious, friendly, and extremely helpful in planning our activities while we were in Volterra. The property is beautiful, and offers a combination of historic charm, local flavor, and wonderful amenities. Temps were a little too cool for us to use the pool during our stay, but we are all looking forward to going back sometime when we can. The breakfast service is outstanding, with many homemade treats prepared by Luca's family and their staff. Note...There are a lot of great restaurants in Volterra, but one evening we bought 'picnic' supplies at the local grocer, then went back to Villa Rioddi to enjoy dinner on the veranda - watching a fabulous Tuscan sunset! Luca joined us for conversation, and we had one of the best evenings of our trip! We highly recommend this option!

The only thing that would have been better is is we had stayed longer!
