Spacious, warm, with all facilities.

Georges and his wife were very easy to communicate with and very friendly and helpful. The place was spotless clean and spacy. It felt like home or going to your grandma. The shower turned on warm water quickly and was powerful. The bedroom was really big. We didn't try the breakfast as we had to leave early in the morning but it sounded good. The place was quiet providing a great sleep. There was an extra blanket in the wardrobe which we used. A great place to stop over on a long drive, and the price was good too.

The bed felt small and the mattress was really soft, it gives an old grandma house feel but we would have preferred a more modern and more firm mattress to sleep on. Still comfortable but not as much as we would like. Apart from that, everything was great.

he seems security conscious. I so much as the Double gate to the property was locked at arrival, which he opened. however, we wanted to go for a walk and the gates were secured and we could not get out, rang his bell and knocked- no response! - was he down the pub? Even climbing was out of the question. So we were resigned to have our dinner and retire to bed @ 9pm.

The beds were very comfortable! They had all of the facilities that you could ever need and they were amazingly clean!

Breakfast is quite poor: coffee, croissant, jam, juice and milk. If you are used to continental breakfast it will be too little. But quite typical for France

Lovely place, clean, spacious, quiet.

Great stopover in a quiet village not far off the motorway. Every facility you needed was available. Nice rooms, private secured parking and Dog friendly.

Location was good for us

Lovely family and dog friendly gite with enclosed garden in quiet village. This was our second visit as a family and it was even better this time. it is also just a short drive from the A5 if you are travelling through France as we were.

Excellent host and hostess. Rooms were beautiful decorated, with good beds. The kitchen was well equipped and bathroom comfortable.

Spotless and quirky

Bathroom off the kitchen. Had to walk through two rooms to reach it and past guest having breakfast! Black hairs in the bath! Had to get into the bath to turn on the tap. Very poor lighting in the bedroom. Dreadful bedding. Sheet and blanket - felt unclean. No facilities in the room.

It is a spacious, well equipped gîte, with safe and secure parking and kind hosts.

Our host and hostess were really friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome immediately The location is very peaceful and tranquil but with easy access to the autoroute. Maps were provided for if you wanted to do a walking trail and there was a great bar about 10 minutes drive away called at La tabla de Claudine. The bonus for us was that it had ample parking space for both our large car and trailer. The gîte had everything you could possibly want with plenty of crockery etc and washing machine and dryer. Quaint and lovely!

A slightly bigger bed would have been a bonus.
