Nice food and reasonably priced drinks. Saturday night entertainment. Clean room and lovely pool. Staff were very friendly

What we were chasing and able to sit out on the grass and have a beer we were 4 brothers staying the weekend.

I was charged twice, so they have illegally kept my credit card details and charged me on day of arrival and then on the next day after leaving. Denied charges when contacting manager and now have credit card company collecting my refund. Never received this from anywhere before. Quite disgusted. Beds were low quality and floors were not clean.

The location was good, next to the centre of the town and main restaurants. The staff were also nice, although the office was closed when we got there (that was at 20.00) but they provided us with a map so all good. The bed was confortable.

The place needs a bit of maintenance as this is usually used by backpackers and I guess they don’t take much care of the facilities. The place was very noisily when we got there and it wasn’t till 23:30 when we could finally get some sleep.

Quite loud even past curfew. Door was opened at 9.45am without a knock using the keycode to the room- 15 minutes before checkout time - someone could have been changing. The person who opened it just said 'oh I thought you left' when the checkout instructions were to leave your door open to signal leaving which we clearly had not. When we said to reception that it had happened and we were upset considering no apology and completely unprofessional the man behind the desk (potentially seemed like the owner?) smirked and said 'oh he isnt a staff member, just a backpacker cleaning rooms for us' which is even more disturbing he had our room code?! Again just a smirk and no apology just 'we thought you had left'. Very concerning considering young people - especially girls - staying here and just giving out room key codes to 'non-staff'.

Checkin was easy, and staff friendly. There is a kitchen you can use - we took plates etc and a toaster back to the room, which worked well... kitchen is used by permanent residents so not best space for casual visitors.
