Good location

Having stayed with Holiday Inn in numerous locations we were surprised to discover, without warning that there was only a very limited menu available at dinner ie pizza or burgers. We eventually settled for soup for my wife and veg risotto for me as we didn’t want the alternative. Had we been advised on arrival early afternoon we could have made alternative arrangements. For the first time we were somewhat disappointed with the Holiday Inn experience.

Easy parking, room was good. Comfy pillows and clean bed. Good shower space. Room clean. Good food.

Our room was pretty basic, toilet was low for me, bathroom shower smelled of damp, hadn’t been used for a while and water hadn’t been run daily as per Gov suggestion to keep smells and listeria away. Family in another room -their shower was clean and no smells on their room.

While I appreciate it is an Express Hotel, I was disappointed at the lack of choice for an evening meal with only a choice of two different pizzas on Friday night as no chef on duty, to the addition of an American burger on Saturday night. The red wine was nice though.

It was located in a peaceful area only 15 minutes walk from the centre of Windsor. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and the hotel breakfast had a good selection of options.

The TV in the room wasn’t very good, not that it mattered much as we were mostly out and about.

Everything you would expect from a Holiday Inn Express. A really good location, we parked in their garage and walked into Windsor town centre easily

The hotel was good value and the staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast very good.

I had asked for two twin bedded rooms. What we got was two family rooms with double bed and sofa bed in each. Sofa bed was reasonably comfortable. Shower could have been cleaner. Location was not very central but we got our steps in!

The location was great. Only a 15 min walk into town. The room was clean and the beds were comfy.

The breakfast was limited.
