Beautiful hotel with great breakfast!

Nothing - all was great!

Very nice old style building. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Nice view from window, straight on the river. Proper sized bed. Gingerbread hotel replica in lobby was super nice, due to winter season.

Restaurant with breakfast has very strange layout, was dark and to be honest not very welcoming. Some cleaning issues, like bed which wants to be vacuum cleaned, but on the other hand bathroom was perfect. Staff not very visible, reception desk was almost all the time empty.

Top cleaning. The New year's Eve dinner was perfect and fulfill. Staff in general very polite and available. Perfectly centered, next to a parking lot and easy to walk around town. Breakfast with differents options and fresh (except for the fruit salad).

Not exactly complain, but a suggestion and a personal taste. The fruit salad at breakfast didn't match the freshness of the rest of the offers. Seemed canned fruit, everything else was perfect.

easy to find. easy INDOOR parking (£10). Great facilities. good breakfast. great location (5 minute walk from the centre, the Gävlebock, lots of restaurants. friendly professional staff.

Rooms did not live up to the pictures on website

The location was excellent as it was extremely close to the train station and within a short 5 min walk of everything we wanted to see (The Gavle Goat and Christmas market was our priority).

English signs at breakfast would have been helpful, and the pancakes were a bit old, but everything else was wonderful at the breakfast and in the room!

Accommodation is fine. Breakfast is very tasty.

But for that price, we wanted a better room because we could hear the water pouring down above us. It was very disturbing. And the image through the window of the room to the parking lot was not attractive

I liked my room, was comfy and spacious. Breakfast was quite good too.

Nothing like wanting to go to bed at 2 AM and having to run around the hotel building with all doors locked trying to figure out how to get to your room.
