Wonderful location, great value, nice breakfast and kind staff.

Kind and helpful staff, amazing location.

The location is the best part, its really close to part of the town, but the room is really small, and the beds are queen, not bigger enought if you are sharing. The breakfast was good omelet/egg with hojaldre.

The small room and the beds wheren´t big enought, is also located very close to the main road so will hear the cars passing by.

Reception was friendly and helpful.

The building is between the main street and another street, rooms are loud, there is no view at all, you do not have a garden. You have to leave the place to enjoy Boquete and the landscape.

Location was good, 5min walk from town, uphill back but easy going. Breakfast was nice for the couple of days we were there, fresh fruit and eggs and toast, any longer may have become a bit repetitive. Good WiFi. Very helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable and airy public areas to sit and have breakfast or just relax.

Bed was a bit too hard for us and sank in the middle, also a larger blanket, but that's our preference. There are a few noisy dogs but nothing hotel can do about that, just be aware anytime any local takes their dog for a walk it sets them all off. When asked to clean shower head done that day.

Small rooms. Room #13 where we stayed in had an awkward shape. It was a cross between a square and triangle. No lamp on the nightstand and terrible pillows. We had to ask for a table. Room didnt look like on the pics chair and desk were missing. Breakfast is limited.

Very clean place. Their breakfast is the best we had in 12 different hotels the last 3 weeks in Costa Rica and Panama. Their omelette and their pancakes are outstandingly top-class. The receptionist Angel was so nice, professional and service-minded. We must have annoyed him with all our thousands of questions, but he always had a smile on his face and did his best to help us out in every way. Nothing seemed to be a problem for him.

We got a room where the Windows couldn't open up. There are rooms where the Windows can be opened but just make sure you get one of those if you want that Small rooms.

room is basic. mattress is lower quality. fine for a solo traveler who wants a private room and shower and little else.

the communication is very hard since nobody speaks even a little bit English. Room service was only every second day. The hotel is a little bit old. It is authentic for casa abuella (Grandmother) but outdated.

The hotel is cheerful, lovely terrace to sit, easy access to rooms, overall quiet. The room is comfortable and simple. Same can be said for the bathroom. Breakfast was good: your choice of eggs (I had omelets), small bowl of cut mixed fruit, toast, juice, tea or coffee. The little restaurant was simple but that was just fine. The staff were friendly and tried their limited English as I tried my limited Spanish. They were very helpful with a couple of requests. Smiles go a long way but indoors, masks must still be worn. Smile with your eyes! Location is good and convenient to downtown, especially if you are good with walking but taxis are readily available. I had a nice view to the hills. The birds chirp with gusto.

I thought the price was high but this is Boquete and there is high demand. To put this in perspective I have had accommodations in Panama City in much higher quality hotels for considerably less. That is just the way it is in Boquete. Taxi to downtown (Central Park) was $2.50 and I thought that was high. The bus all the way to the city of David was only $1.75. I needed the taxi as I had luggage and preferred not to make a long walk to the bus stop. Obviously, $2.50 does not break the bank. The neighborhood barking dogs ...roosters... but the hotel cannot do anything about these external matters. I suppose I could close the window but breathing in the mountain air was more important.

Based on the name of the hotel, we expected to find an old kind grandma running the place, but there was none. The room was very small and there was a sort of walking closet without a light, so you couldn't see anything. We stayed there for three nights, but the room was never cleaned. The room missed places to hang stuff on.

It was fairly clean and accomodated 6 people well in 2 rooms.

The location was ok, and the basics were there, room was spacious.

Thw facilities in the room was not food. Water waa very low pressure from the tap, the key ring was damaged. The breakfast was very very simple. The staff could not speak English at all very frustrating.
