The hosts were very accommodating. There was free coffee offered. The location is very nice and near most areas.

Although the room was nice, there was no air conditioning so it's not as comfortable during summer mornings/afternoon.

Overall experience is excellent! Location is absolutely the advantage of this Hostal. It is in old town, close to most of the attractions and also good for a night walk. It is also very clean and has everything you need for a stay. The staff is nice and helpful, the only thing is you need to at least speak some basic Spanish when you come to this town of Cuenca.

Nothing much, just when you come, the door at the entrance might take some of your power to open and close. But not a big deal.

Location was perfect , long narrow room with a small seating area with amazing views. In the lobby was a fridge with cheap drinks, and a coffee machine for the early morning.

Lovely atmospheric traditional old building in the most amazing gem of a town in the hills of eastern Spain. The hosts were most kind and attentive. Very nice to stay overnight and enjoy the quiet evening and morning in this stunning location.

This place is outstanding - but then I was the only guest at the time so I had it all to myself! My room had the feel of a monk's cell (but with most amenities thrown in!). I had an incredible view through two tiny windows out over the gorge to the San Pablo monastery; it felt like I was in a tower. The bed was incredible; firm but comfortable. There is even free tea and coffee available, and cold drinks at a reasonable price. You can't do better for location in Cuenca's historic centre than this place which is a 2 minute walk down the hill to the Cathedral; you're literally in the heart of the ancient settlement.

You could do with a bedside lamp at this price, and that shower-head has seen better days. I wasn't terribly convinced by the speed/reliability of wi-fi either, but then that just added to that monk-like simplicity and seclusion!

Family run small hotel with everything done right.

Great place to stay during you visit to Cuenca. 1 minute walking from Cathedral. Friendly staff, and clean confortable rooms. An excellent place to stay for a weekend.
