The location was excellent just across from tge beach. Bus stops along the way, beautiful place for a holiday.

Some staff are friendly and very diligent specifically Baboo from the restaurant, the housekeeping that consistently cleans and changes the towels, elderlies are welcome to have fun.
Theres a list of things that our family dislikes about this hotel, the list goes below:
- 1.5hrs drive from the airport
- the room is very small, consider 2steps from the entrance door and its your bed already and from bed is another 2steps to the comfort/shower room
- malfunctioned drawer, keeps on sliding open
- only 1 electric plug functioning at the room and 1 in the comfort room (this damaged my go pro camera while i was charging the battery, my fault but i had no choice i need to charge all our gadgets)
- A/C is malfunctioning as well, sometimes its not working as how it is expected to work
-breakfast buffet options is very limited and its the same everyday (we booked for 5days)
- ala carte also is so costly and theres nothing so special about their dish, not worth the value at all
-some staff requires hospitality training, i have mentioned upon booking that I have a terrible knee problem and requested for low ground room due to my medical condition, they indeed provided a low ground room but 3-5minutes away from the entrance (our entire holiday i struggle with my knee pain)
- some staff are very bias with skin color, specifically Yunesh from the restaurant. If you are not white skin you will have to ask him many times before he provides you of your needs, he will never talk to you politely if you are brown skin or asian like my family, his treatment to my family was very different to the western people on the table beside us.
- parking is priority for the staff and not the customers and accessing it is very difficult as there is not signage where is the entrance/ reception or parking space for the said hotel

Location was good.
No wifi in the room, and no wifi in the Hotel - Signal was very bad. There was also little hot water on the first night and no hot water on the second night.

I found the effort done by the new Management. From where they were and what has been done. They are really dedicated to the progress in the hospitality and am more than happy of my recent stay there. Staff are friendly and very down to earth and ready to satisfy all their clients. You really feel at home. Thanks to the Management and the entire staff.
I had no complaint at all. Everything was perfect. You just ask and they are always available to satisfy your needs.

Thanks to Le Grand Bleu Hotel and team. Sailesh and Babu at the restaurant, nice coktails. Abhishek and Anil, you guys were very kind and helpful. I do recommend this hotel to all travellers, clean, comfortable and peaceful, value for money. I will definitely come back.

Friendly staff members who are very helpful when you have questions. Room value for money and clean. Food was good as well.
Wifi coverage at hotel is not great but it seems they are already working on it with their operator when we raise this to their attention.

great value for the price, the staff is welcoming and ready to help, perfect location between two incredible beaches , the hotel has a well maintained and pretty tropical garden, with lovely birds singing during breakfast, and flower all around

The breakfast was good for the prize.
The rooms are not exceptionally clean which can be improved especially the bathroom. There was a huge coakroach in my wardrobe too

The atmosphere was good, the service and the personnel also.
Most of the equipment in the gym was out of service.. no entertainment,animation.

Staff in general were friendly and helpful, except on the day left. Room was neat and clean, bathroom although was very cramped.
Finding the reception was a struggle when I arrived also no clear signs showing where to park. Breakfast was the same everyday, how about offering something a little different every other day. I was offered spa facilities but there was never anyone there when I wanted to make a booking. On the day I left I asked if I could check out a little later as my flight was later, I was first told check out was 12pm, upon confirming this at 11 I was asked who i booked through, when I told them booking.com I was suddenly told that check out was at 11 and i had to rush to clear the room and get out.

Everything! I booked this last minute, via Booking.com, and it claimed there were five rooms available at this price - £59. On arrival I thought I was arriving to a lovely, modern, fresh hotel. Reception staff really nice, reception area clean & relatively modern.
Seemingly they weren’t aware of my arrival & there weren’t actually 5 rooms available at all, and we were left waiting for a good 10 minutes + and to be shown to a room that I could only like. to a prison cell! Awful!
Room unclean, uncomfortable, and I felt unsafe. Curtains I’ll fitting & hanging off rails. Bed lined stained and dirty. Bed lumpy & uncomfortable with badly fitting mattress. Room & furniture in need of major improvements. Floors, room & bathroom dirty. Lamps damaged & broken. Sockets loose. Bathroom tiles, flooring, shower, fittings all dirty, broken, and in major need of replacement. Creepy corridors and dirty staircases up to room, and badly fitting room door & rickety handle, which was merely locked by a crappy little key. Also very noisy at night as overlooked the animation area. Breakfast was poor. Although staff friendly & coffee good.

Excellent staff that went beyond their call of duty to try and solve the issues, without the help of the owner.
The owners/directors of this establishment have no idea as to how to run a hospitality estalishment. No hot water, hard old beds, dated decor and very little maintenance to infra-structure. We booked here to get a local experience as we were told that locals frequent this establishment. We had to cancel our booking as our complaints could not be solved and moved to an establishment that caters for foreign guests. It is sad that this establishment is owned by a local Mauritian who treats his own local guests with such disrespect. The property is in an excellent location and with a little loving care, it could be a very sought after hotel. Will definitely not recommend it in its current state.
