Very nice location and the hotel is pretty

The reception is not really a reception, you enter the hotel from the restaurant - when we entered the staff was busy with the restaurant and no one really asked us if we needed help or anything The room was ok, maybe a bit expensive for what we got Pillows were very uncomfortable

Lovely room Not too many dinners the night I was there. I ordered the lamb koftas and wow - was it good. The best pub meal I’ve ever had. Three koftas, beautiful salad, cous cous and naan bread. Top marks. Brilliant staff - friendly and attentive. Some lovely walks and scenery in the local area.

Wine prices by the glass way too much (£8.50 for a 125ml glass of Argentinian Malbec is outrageous for this Aussie. TV in room appeared to be free to air only

The hotel was very easy to find. It has a lovely bar and restaurant. The food we ate in the evening (mezza to share) was excellent. The beds were very comfortable.

Our bedroom was at the front of the hotel, very close to the road, and there was a great deal of traffic noise. It was like being next to a motorway! Since I had asked for a quiet room this was particularly disappointing.

No taxi service available to the location, so pretty stuck if you aren't/don't want to drive. The reception for the hotel is in the bar which on a Saturday night was really busy.

Whole property needed a deep clean.. Room was very small for a double bed
