Food was expensive, path to get up and down to La Casita was not well-designed to walk.

Great location in the middle of a jungle, close to the beach. You can hear the animals in the night, that makes it a very special place to sleep. We enjoyed the natural style of the cabanas and also the great shower in the bathroom. The Staff is really friendly and helpful. Also the surf lesson at the surf dojo is great :)

We rented the beach view cabanas up the hill, which is really hard to reach by foot. The path up to the cabana is very steep and exhausting with backpack. Especially at the night its a little bit dangerous, because there are no lights on the way. Would be good, when the owner changes that. Also the prizes at the restaurant are to high and the waitress didn't inform us about extra prices for French fries etc.

EcoVenao has it all! An amazing beach, a beautiful forest, peaceful & quiet, fabulous food and drinks (with 4 different bars/restaurants to choose from), super kind and helpful staff and fun chalets. And it has the humility to perfectly blend (actually disappear) into nature that all other hotels and lodges in a Playa Venao miss.

Amazing experience, stuff really friendly and helpful. Manuel help me with everything, they are really taking care of you. Lili in the coffee shop is a lovely person and also really friendly . I love this place ! With amazing nature ,so peaceful . If i have to come back to playa venao 1 day this place will be for sure my first destination . I highly recommend it 🤗. I loved everything about Eco Venao, we ate in the main restaurant and the food was incredible, not expected at all, the place is very nice, the room is confortable and the bathroom very clean and beautiful, we stayed in this small but lovely cabañas uphill, the view was amazing. The beach area is nice and the bar has very good cocktails. The trail to the waterfall is beautiful and so full of a different experience from everything else in Playa Venao. People in the front desk are very friendly and helpful. We saw monkeys just at the entrance of the hostel, AMAZING!

The only thing is that they don't sell the experience as it is, there is so much to receive from this place, even the menu and the description of the food in the restaurant was lame, but the experience was another thing. They need to find someone who transmit the experience to the customers, the lady in the breakfast had no intention to sell anything, her energy was so low that I almost left to another place.
